We're still patiently waiting for SCS Software to bring its acclaimed Truck Simulator titles to PlayStation, but in the meantime, other options are cropping up. One such example is Alaskan Truck Simulator, announced a while ago for both PS5 and PS4. It's just received a new trailer, revealing a Q4 2022 release window.
What sets this truck sim apart from the rest is its combination of survival with the expected driving elements. Yes, you're hauling goods in massive trucks across the state, but you're also simulating the life of the trucker, with a need to rest, eat, and maintain your vehicle. It should make for an interesting mix when it trundles onto both consoles later this year.

Polish developer, small studio probably very inexperienced.
Day one the game will probably be buggy not review well so to cut a long story short, yup I'll be buying this.
Snowrunner gets a PS5 update in May too.
