After downloading today's PlayStation 5 firmware update, you are likely to also pull a small Gran Turismo 7 patch if you own the game. Weighing in at just 312.5MB, it makes only two fixes: one to make sure music plays at the start and end of races, and the other is all about Brand Central. Invitations to buy cars at discounted prices from the world's greatest manufacturers were apparently expiring earlier than intended, and patch 1.12 fixes that.
With this new update installed, Invitations should stick around for 30 days after you receive them. What's more, this patch will automatically send a load of Invitations to your inbox once you boot the game up again. They'll let you buy specific cars from Aston Martin, Bugatti, Citroën, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Pagani, and Porsche. You have until 24th April 2022 to log in and claim them.
And that's it from Gran Turismo 7 for today. Which cars do you hope these Invitations let you buy at discounted rates? Share your hopes in the comments below.

Will be checking this out later tonight
Guess I should race my way to more credits to try and purchase some of these vehicles. I've been playing casually between Elden Ring sessions, but I know this is a nice chance to purchase these as they are time limited and may be awhile before they're seen again. Despite people's complaints about the game, I've enjoyed it, but I also haven't been grinding for credits like most either.
Bought myself a Ferrari Testarossa the other day.
Got to say my suped-up Renault Clio is more fun to drive.
Check out the 599PP Tomahawk x videos on YouTube.
Cheesy as hell, but helps up tick the credits to get cars... Up to 11.3 million without really trying.
@Futureshark the one mission I did involving the testarossa was horrible - turning circle of a freight liner.
- Fixed an issue with the ‘Invitation’ feature wherein the invitations would inadvertently expire earlier than intended. Furthermore, with this update 'Invitations' from the manufacturers listed below will be distributed to all accounts who will log in-game by April 24:
So what should be discounted here? This is not true @pushsquare sorry
@dellyrascal I put some vids of me using this on my YouTube. It's a crazy fast car
Seen YouTube videos of how rigged the roulette spins are to reward you with the worst or lowest valued or useful item — and they certainly are — but the last couple daily marathons spins I got a 1,000,000 cr. reward, followed by a 500,000 cr. reward😃 I will take it.
Personally I'm not interested in the cars on the invites. Unless your a collector, there's lots of better cars. One example is the porcshe carrera, I won one on a roulette spin. Its ***** and costs a few million.
On another note, I finally managed to finish all the new missions. The cars rewarded are better than those invites.
Im 172 cars in. Going to need some more at this rate Polyphony!
Once I am done with Gran Turismo 4 (PS2) I'll see what's all the fuss about.....
@eagletrippin I get the lowest amount EVERY time. Literally everytime. Glad to hear that others don’t. I was sure it was fixed lol
@Stocksy Oh, no, don't get me wrong, it is most definitely rigged! Whatever their formula is, it's bad, and there's nothing random to it when all five items don't have an equal chance of being landed on. These 2 spins of mine were certainly outliers.
@lolwhatno I totally agree. It is really both improved and worsened. Like some kinda African safari.... I have hard copy of Gran Turismo Sport which I uninstalled a year ago (somehow I cannot find the time for it). And as it concerns GT7 I'll probably wait for the PS5 PRO to arrive, since I don't own a PS5, and don't have the money to upgrade TV, audio system all together (which I think is necessary for the PS5)
@lolwhatno sorry for the late reply. The weather home was great in the weekend, and I was enjoying my bike for the first time in six months. All I have are some rumours for the distant middle 2024 for the 5 pro. Edit....not rumours, but only one rumour...
