UK developer nDreams is fast establishing itself as one of the busiest names in virtual reality, having recently announced Ghostbusters VR for Meta Quest – among many others. Now the Fracked creator has started to tease its next title: a next-gen virtual reality release for PSVR2. “Are you ready?” it asks.
The studio says that the game will be revealed in the “coming months”, although there’s no indication that Sony is preparing to properly pull back the curtain on its PS5 peripheral yet. We’ve known that nDreams has been working with PSVR2 for some time now, though, so we’re extremely optimistic about what it’s got cooking.

I don’t think I can get anymore hyped for PSVR2.
Just need that preorder link and then it’s waiting time. Haha.
@SoulChimera I really hope it comes out this year.
PlayStation Home VR
@get2sammyb It would be amazing if it did.
@get2sammyb I expect PSVR2 in 2023. I am excited to try it, but I wouldn't get your hopes up for it to be available in 2022. I've read evidence of component orders that suggests 2023, which isn't perfect, but... I still wouldn't get hopes up for 2022.
Sony doesn't show the Plus games...doesn't show VR2...doesn't show God of War sequel...I don't know wtf they are doing lol
Now Microsoft announces an event for MS/Bethesda games for June!
We will probably get a Stray State of Play in June LOL...this is getting sad or am I crazy?
@AFCC We barely just got two amazing first-party games in the form of Horizon and GT7, not to mention admittedly more divisive exclusives like Sifu and Ghostwire Tokio.
You're not crazy, just a bit too anxious. We're good, mate. Take a breath.
@AFCC The ***** they pull releasing games instead of teasing them to you what a monsters.
@Flaming_Kaiser true. They are real corporate boogeymen.
@Art_Vandelay I mean, look at what's coming now, they must have tons more games in development, they should be able to compete better with MS announcements! I feel like Sony is getting too high on their own success!
@AFCC I agree. Surely there's a lot going on internally that we don't know yet. And a summer/fall showcase is definitely in the cards.
What I don't agree is that Sony should rush announcements. In the current scenario, release dates can slip way beyond the original planning. Some hype is desirable, but shielding devs from unnecessary pressure is commendable.
