Superb strategy-tinged visual novel 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim will soon receive a free update on PS4, adding new weapons to the game that appeared in the recently released Nintendo Switch version. Not exactly earth-shaking news, but at least Atlus is keeping PlayStation players in the loop.
That said, this update has only been confirmed for Japan so far, but we assume that it'll be released in the West as well. Oh, and in Japan, this update will also add English voice-overs.
If we hear anything about this update officially heading West, we'll be sure to let you know. In the meantime, let's just take a minute to appreciate how good 13 Sentinels is in the comments section below.

Very nice.
Absolutely adored this game.
I approached it hesitantly because it didn't seem like Vanillaware's usual offering.
How dare I doubt them. A fantastic title.
I just heard about Sword of the Vagrant by O.T.K Games today for the first time too. It looks like a nice imitation of Odin Sphere or Dragon's Crown.
Is this the start of the "Vanillalike" genre? 😏
My second favorite PS4 game only behind Persona 5. I'm still listening to the soundtrack in the car every now and then!
Such a great game. I hope it did well on Switch also - it is prefect for handheld play.
A Gem in general. Must play.
Phenomenal game, easily one of the best stories I’ve ever played in a game.
Amazing game, one of the best sci-fi stories ever told, and not just in gaming.
…but I didn’t even know the Switch version had extra content.
Cool but if it's only the new weapons and not some of the balance changes they made for that version than pretty meh overall tho. Still a fantastic game
It was kinda funny that they promoted the switch version having new content like weapons, when the game doesn't even have proper models for its sentinels nor animations for attacks
It's an incredible game.
The plot doesn't make any sense, but it has some of the coolest story presentation ever.
Brilliant game, probably my best PS4 experience.
Ugh I really gotta get back to this one. Got it early last year and quickly became sidetracked on other games
