F1 22 was officially announced recently, but gameplay has been a no-show so far. Well, with today's trailer, we get a look at how the game is shaping up as the fancy new cars speed across Miami's International Autodrome circuit. As expected, the new entry is looking sharp so far — here's a few extra screenshots for good measure.
Also unveiled today are the cover stars for this year's game. Charles Leclerc is front and centre of the box this time, with Lando Norris and George Russell on either side. If you buy the Champions Edition, you'll instead have Lewis Hamilton, Sebastian Vettel, Fernando Alonso, and current champ Max Verstappen staring stoically from the cover.
The game is racing towards a 1st July release date, although pre-ordering the special edition mentioned above will allow you three days of early access. Are you excited to get behind the wheel of F1 22? Overtake Lewis in the comments section below.

I'm hoping the race ends up being as exciting as that trailer makes it look. I'm not going to bet on it though.
Do we get porpoising this season?
First GT7 and now F1-22 looks like it will be amazing (fantastic actual F1 season already)
Good Times 🏁
I'm enjoying the season so far...helps not having Lewis spoiling it at the front.
I appreciate that it's all about gameplay first (locked 60fps & 120fps modes). But, man, this franchise could use a shot in the arm, graphically. Been waiting an actual next-gen F1 experience. I think the color tones are a little too washed out and can look cartoony. Ah well.
Another cross gen title not pushing the game forwards.
I fear cross gen games are with us for another 5 years as developers want to be on as many platforms as possible.
But does the in-game track have authentic fake water?
excited, but meh the graphics look the same as before
