Gloomhaven, the board game turned tactical RPG, is coming to consoles in 2023. It's been available on PC since last year, where it was met with impressively positive reviews from both critics and players.
As its name suggests, Gloomhaven is a dark fantasy title. It's an in-depth dungeon crawler with turn based combat and a stylish art direction. There are 17 playable characters to choose from, and you can even team up with other players for some online co-op craziness.
Specific platforms haven't been confirmed just yet, but we assume that it's targeting PS5 or PS4, or both. Do you like the looks of Gloomhaven? Tread carefully in the comments section below.

I didn't even know there is a video game version of Gloomhaven but the board game is fantastic with a few friends! I'll definitely keep this on the radar.
I want to like the tactical/CRPGs so badly but they just don’t click with me. That said the board game really is awesome and this looks fantastic in action
@Korgon it’s on PC and plays pretty well. I think you’ll like it if you liked the tabletop version, it’s obviously not as good, but it’s a great substitute.
@Colour You and me both man! It's like I see the appeal, but they just don't click.
@Odium
Yeah I might look into it. As much as I enjoy the board game it's difficult to find a time that works for everybody in my group sometimes so maybe this can scratch the itch if getting together is too much of a hassle for a weekend.
I was interested, then I saw tactical... not my style
But glad it's coming
@Korgon that’s exactly why I grabbed it. We’re on chapter 10 in the board game but it’s so tough to get it to the table. This helps scratch that itch. Plus no setup and I can play it solo.
Yay for me! Now I can play Gloomhaven. Not enough friends interested in the board game, but I always was. This will be great.
@Elodin you can play it solo. I'm about 1/4 of the way through jaws of the lion. It's really fun that way, if hard to stay on top of management of different characters
@poperamone oh. I didn't know that. Thanks for the information, much appreciated.
This is great news for me. I've had it on my port-to-PlayStation wish list since it released on pc. It's definitely right up my alley & is something I'll pre-order.
