Between the likes of Multiversus and LEGO Brawls, it feels like publishers are beginning to pluck up the confidence to take on the Super Smash Bros formula again. Of course, the results are always mixed, but Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl was well-liked enough to justify DLC, and here’s your first taste of what’s in store.
So, available right now is Jenny from My Life As a Teenage Robot. You can buy her individually, or as part of a Season Pass for £9.49/$11.99. Stump up for the aforementioned Season Pass and you’ll also get Hugh Neutron from The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron this summer, and Rocko from Rocko’s Modern Life later in the year. All of the characters come with a stage and an alternate costume.
You can check out some footage above, and if you haven’t picked up the main game yet, know that we described it as the “best Smash clone we’ve ever played” in our Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl PS5 review.

'Looks like I'm going to have to show you what real fighting looks like Jimbo.'
I might buy it just to send my opponents to the shadow realm with Hugh Neutron
Hopefully Hugh can finally slap some sense into Jimbo Ryan
Wait hold on weren't the other dlc characters free
I love that they added Hugh.
@Jackpaza0508 There’s evidence to suggest that Garfield and Shredder already had work done on them before launch. They just had to be cut due to time constraints most likely, and because of this they made them free. These are actual post launch developed fighters so I think it’s fair that they’re paid.
Rocko was a underrated show.
@Deoxyr1bose Ah, ok that makes sense. Thanks for clarifying!
Ah, Jenny is here finally, consider me interested in the game now.
Have they added voices yet? No? Not interested. Where's Ren's "yoooo eediot!" and so on?
@sanderson72 Was Ren not voiced by John Kricfalusi? I can’t remember if they replaced him or not but I guess they would have to now, given that he’s a nonce.
If/when there is a ultimate edition with all dlc and more importantly (can't stress this part enough) with voice overs which is what makes these characters feel alive it will be a day one.
@nessisonett Billy West (voice of Stimpy & Phillip j Fry from Futurama, of course) took over the Ren voice duties from Series 3, I think?
@sanderson72 Now that you mention it, that does sound familiar!
@Juanalf @sanderson72 Same thoughts here, not touching this game until they actually add voices!
@sanderson72 I hate to say it, but this game needs voices.
