A new PlayStation Store sale is discounting hundreds of PS5, PS4 titles across a range of genres, but the catch is only Deluxe and Ultimate Editions are included. You're not going to see any base versions here, so the price drops will hardly seem attractive unless you're looking to pick up every bit of content all at once. Nevertheless, the Extended Play sale will be available until midnight on 25th May 2022.
On PS5, you could treat yourself to the Tales of Arise Ultimate Edition (£44.99/$65.99), the Watch Dogs Legion Deluxe Edition (£20.39/$17.49), or the Deluxe Edition of Assassin's Creed Valhalla (£30.39/$31.99). Other PS5 titles with discounts include Back 4 Blood, Deathloop, and Far Cry 6.
PS4 users can look forward to cheaper copies of Desperados III (£13.74/$17.49), Empire of Sin (£28.99/$34.99), and Ruined King: A League of Legends Story (£21.44/$25.99). More content packed versions of PS4 titles you could opt for are Valkyria Chronicles 4, We Happy Few, and Wreckfest.
For a complete list of every PS5, PS4 game included in the PS Store Extended Play sale, head on over to PS Prices. The PS Store hasn't been updated with landing pages for the sale just yet. Have you spotted a good deal? Share your digital haul in the comments below.

Empire of Sin is one that I am I interested in but some of the reviews put me off.
Think it needs to be a little lower for me to take the plunge
Would anyone rate XCOM 2 even if I haven't played the first one?
Hell of a discount on it.
I am pretty sure that season passes are also included in the sale.
I'm going to get the Lost Judgment Season Pass for 30% off.
I'm trying to hold off these sales until I see the full list of PS plus premium
@The_Moose I only played xcom 2. Loved it.
@The_Moose Not played it but if you like Strategy games this is touted as one of the very best by just about everyone. Pretty sure I read you don't need to have played the others.
P.S. if you've had PS+ for a while you might already have it as it was included in 2018.
@Apfelschteiner Does that come with Kaito Files?
Delivered me the Moon with a 65% discount. Not bad for a great whopping chunk of cheese
I just bought deliver us the moon deluxe for £6.24 I’ve read it gets a PS5 free upgrade next week 😎
@Tsushima It is my understanding that it includes the Kaito files, but the information is a jumbled mess.
@Arisen I want to play life is strange true colors, but if it is on PS+ premium I will sub for one month to play it. Same goes for the Supermassive anthology games.
I recommend platprices website if you want to track prices and see if a sale price on PSN is good. (First result on Google.)
@The_Moose I had never played Xcom before getting 2, that and the War of the Chosen expansion are fantastic, looooong load times on the PS4, never tried it on the PS5 though
@Dudditz09 I'd be playing it on the PS5 so hopefully that sorts out any load times. I'll give it a go, only a tenner.
Elden Ring has me hooked and I will probably get Code Vein and Mortal Shell Enhanced.
@Arisen it's going to be what's currently in PS Now plus what they've already announced. Just the classic games are unknown, but you can't accidentally buy any of them.
Lol, got tales of arise for £28 physical, can get £20 back in trade in value. Why would I spend £37 extra for the sake of the DLC, which isn’t even that attractive? Digital games still a massive rip off until they let us have ownership.
@Dudditz09 also trying to exercise self-control for Empire of Sin.
@The_Moose XCom 2 is definitely worth the money, as is War of the Chosen. It follows a failed run of the first game, so you don't really have to be that familiar with it. My only pause for thought is that if you have a PC that will play it, then it's probably better bought on Steam so you get access to the extensive library of mods to expand your experience once you've beaten the vanilla gameplay (i.e. what's available on console)
Not all pricey stuff.
Graveyard Keeper Ultimate edition is £19. And even if that game goes on PS+, they'll just put the base version on, and you really need the dlc for this one.
@Tsushima @Apfelschteiner The season pass for Lost Judment is only the Kaito files. This is the only dlc that appeared for the game and as far as i know no other DLC is planned for it.
@Lavalera The season pass also includes a load of random content such as outfits etc.
@thefourfoldroot I've been meaning to buy Tales of Arise, seen it on sale a few times for $36, can't imagine the DLC is worth an extra $30 on top of that. I didn't even know it had any.🤷
lol some of us don't give a fig about physical - I wouldn't use discs whatever the price, so arguments based on that are dead to me.
Convenience trumps disc swapping every time - guess I'm glad I'm not poor enough to worry about disc prices and trade-ins.
Funny af how the anti digital brigade just can't resist these articles. I just ignore them on here one by one now, they're a dying breed anyway 🤣🤣🤣
@Apfelschteiner My apologies you are right. I guess i didn't word it right. My answer was based on story dlc, since i had the digital ultimate edition since launch i forgot the digital deluxe items also existed lol
@Lavalera I want to play Kaito Files so I will get the season pass. Looks like u get some other stuff that adds to school stories etc
@Tsushima Yeah it was my bad as i stated the post above you. Anyways i hope youll enjoy the Kaito files. In my opinion the story was even better than the main game's story and that one already was in my top 3 games of last year. It is on the shorter side though i think i finished the Kaito files in under 10 hours.
I’d hate to buy any of these just to find out they’re included in one of the PS+ tiers next month…
