We all rather like the look of Tchia here at Push Square Towers, so the recent news of the game's delay was a little disappointing. The game's now due out in early 2023, meaning nearly another year of waiting for the colourful, sunny adventure to hit PS5 and PS4. In the meantime, developer Awaceb has just released a short but sweet new gameplay video, and the game continues to look lovely.
The clip focuses on travelling across the open waters surrounding the archipelago in which the game takes place. You'll be able to fully customise your boat, sail to your heart's content, and then drop anchor and dive beneath the waves to discover hidden treasures. It just looks like a nice time, doesn't it?
Hopefully the game will be as good as it looks when it finally launches next year. Are you excited for Tchia? Take a vacation in the comments section below.

It doesn't soften the blow! It just makes me want to explore it more right now
Love games of this nature and aesthetic, and I'm keen to check this out once it finally arrives.
Hm...
I will wait the gameplay video to see more.
Dude wtf!
I'm getting this day one lol
Looks really nice. 😁👍
@Flaming_Kaiser @BoldAndBrash @Titntin Same plan here, will be a day one purchase depending on the price!
I'm thinking this game is going to be very price sensitive from the very little shown. It looks very nice and relaxing but all the adjusting the rigging and dropping anchor look great once or twice but after the 10th time....? At the moment this looks like the kind of game Sony should add the the new subscription service. They may not be able to add their own games day one but surely these kind of games are in scope?
@TooBarFoo
There's tons more in there we've seen in previous showcases, like her ability to transfer into an animal like a bird and fly around..
Judging a title based on a single feature video is pretty silly - do you not want more information on other features before you judge the game?
