RE Village is brilliant, get it if you're on the fence.
Quite a hefty drop in Ghostwire Tokyo's price just 2 months after release.
No ps plus discount?
Grabbed MLB '22. That's me sorted until Sniper Elite 5 arrives in the post.
The highlight of this sale has to be Babylon's Fall at €45,49 (35% off). I want what they're smoking at Sony. 🚬
Wow, Ghostwire Tokyo is even cheaper now than it was in a sale just a few weeks ago. Think I may bite this time.
@BRT15 I know right, they’re really undercharging.
Just grabed a purple controller, the one i got now is still going with no problems, but it's my birthday next week big 40, so thought id treat myself lol.
@NeThZOR That seems to be the case with Bethesda games same happened to Deathloop after 2 months
I'll be getting both Vampire games (Coteries of New York etc) and that's it. Got enough on my plate already and my PS3 arrives tomorrow so I'm planning a big spending spree on PS3 games.
You can tell that Sony's being careful not to discount 1st party games that's on PS+ Extra/Premium.
Was hoping for GT7 discount Think I'll grab cyber punk for $25 and Disco Elysium for $24. Has anyone played Samurai Jack? Is it any good? Was a big fan of the show.
I need to resist buying anything else. The backlog isnt getting any smaller. Although i did manage to complete Kena last night and thoroughly enjoyed it.
@Grumblevolcano 3rd parties aren't being so careful. Remember, don't buy Celeste (which is a good game), as it's included in new PS+.
@Daleaf Happy Birthday man.
@gollumb82 I recently finished Cotories and Shadows of New York. I enjoyed my time with both of them and they convinced me to pre-order Swansong, which I'm currently playing through. Given the price tag I paid I was initially pretty disappointed due to the quality of graphics, poor lip synching, considerable jank and feeling overwhelmed by the mechanics the game throws at you from the get-go. However, I've warmed to the game as I've made my way through the story and think Pushsquare's 7/10 rating is a fair one.
@astro911
Thanks a ton! I'll get Swansong eventually as I love the Vampire franchise in all its forms, but not at that price and maybe some of the jank will get patched. Still holding out hope for Bloodlines 2 😐
Well, as the wife and I are on a health kick, I’ll get Box VR for £7.49.
@Kidfunkadelic83 Glad you enjoyed Kena. Other than some really unfair difficulty spikes it's a really great game. What's next for you? I'm just started Life is Strange: True Colours, enjoying it so far even if it's trying a little too hard to be cool.
Re: Backlogs: I made a rule at the start of this gen to only buy a new game when I completed one I had already bought. It's helped enormously.
@gollumb82
No worries! The New York visual novels really got me interested in the franchise which is why I decided to take the plunge on the Primogen edition of Swansong. Definitely worth waiting for 30% off or more before jumping in. Like you I'm also keeping my fingers crossed for Bloodlines 2! I'm actually somewhat tempted to upgrade my Pro to a PS5 just to play Bloodhunt haha...
@themightyant yeah some bits were very difficult and the parry mechanic felt delated to me. Overall tho a great game and very easy on the eye. I dunno whats next. Fell off GT7 after i completed the single player but i think i might jump back in and clear up some of the races whilst ive got my wheel still set up. Still got Judgment to finish as im about half way through but its a hell of a long game, or so its felt so far. Maybe some Lego star wars as ive not started it yet.
Feudal Alloy, a quirky Metroidvania is on sale for the first time ever (Been on Psn for 3 years). Only £2.39 so don't miss it
@astro911
Well, so I lied when I said I loved Vampire in ALL its forms as battle royale is not my cup of tea haha. Hopefully we'll get an update on Bloodlines 2 soon because it looks like it is in development hell.
I'm surprised that Miles Morales isn't on sale.
A plagues tale for $9.99, don’t mind if I do!
@TheNomadLad thanks m8 got another few days in my 30's so make the most of it haha
Very sad,was hoping for a discount on the regular yearly ps plus sub.They always have it on sale each year for days of play.
Ghostwire Tokyo for me at £29.99 . Had been looking at a physical copy last week, but at that price, it's a no brainer. Brought some credit too and used that so effectively came in at £26 or so.
@Grumblevolcano RDR2, one of the biggest sellers of the Extra tier, is on sale so... Also Celeste. Both amazing games
Can't really bring myself to buy anything. My backlog is massive (between PlayStation and PC) and a lot of the stuff that would have tempted me, is likely going to be in the PS Plus premium tier anyway
Ghostwire Tokyo is currently £27.95 at The Game Collection.
@Elodin God I wish I got to play DE for the first time again
Ghostwire gets a mediocre review on PS and then trumpets and tribulations that it's on sale? Hmmm...
@Piyo Sony has come out with an official announcement that all past discounts are null and void and to get a future discount of $10, you only have to pay them $20. Pay them $60 and you get a $30 discount, and so on.
PSprices still hasn't updated for US. Guess I'm not buying anything in this sale.
@Piyo I mean the new service isn't available outside of Asia right now so why would it be on sale.
No Cuphead or Crusader Kings 3 discounts
@Daleaf if I don't run into ya, happy birthday, bruddah! 🤙
@PhhhCough cheers m8
Picked up RE8 and Kings Quest Collection. Still tempted by Rift Apart.
@Daleaf hahahahaha thats the spirit, im in my mid 30s so i know exactly what you mean man, have fun and stay young at heart.
😁 got a week off so going to start my 40s the same as i did in my 20s and 30s and get smashed haha.
@NeThZOR Thanks for mentioning this, ghostwire fot 50% was too appealing to me and ive jumped in! Mainly cause i want to explore tokyo, but im also likely to enjoy the game too despite its mixed reception😊
@gollumb82 I'm not into battle royale games at all but the VtM franchise and setting in Prague has really piqued my interest!
I got Sackboy. It’s a pretty solid platformer.
That soundtrack though… is delicious.
Nothin doing it I haven't already. But, browsing my list l'll grab Chorus while it's 50%
