You could cut and paste last week's top 10 best selling physical games in the UK into this article and get away with it if it wasn't for Sifu. Besides the boxed copy of Sloclap's now potentially not so brutal brawler, the list is virtually identical to last week. Nintendo Switch Sports is still at number one. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is still at number two.
At least Horizon Forbidden West moves up a spot into third. The Sony exclusive is experiencing a 108 per cent increase in sales week on week, largely thanks to consistent PS5 Stock in the UK. As for Sifu, which debuted in ninth place, 81 per cent of its sales were for the PS5 version. The rest were on PS4 since it's a console exclusive.
Here's the latest top 10 in full.
UK Sales Charts: Week Ending 7th May 2022
- Nintendo Switch Sports
- LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga
- Horizon Forbidden West
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
- Kirby and the Forgotten Land
- Pokemon Legends: Arceus
- Elden Ring
- Grand Theft Auto V
- Sifu
- Minecraft (Switch)

I think it's good to see these tentpole PS5 exclusives getting a boost with new stock. Plenty of consumer interest for these games, hopefully Sony can continue to ship more systems.
Nice to see Sifu pop up with its new physical edition. Recently played through it again to try out the new difficulty settings and it's just such a well made game.
Glad for horizon, stellar game. And any opinions on how long gta will stick around in the top ten this time lol.
I did recently purchase Horizon, but will be playing on the good old PS4 for the moment, in lieu of the new console. Glad to see Elden Ring still selling, though reminds me I also need to play it at some point. Only found time to play 10 or so hours since launch, and the game seems vast.
I finally got to play Sifu after receiving my physical copy. Such a fun game. I know they nerfed Sean in a patch but I beat the first two levels on my first attempt.
Good to see GTA5 still kickin’ it.
I'm happy Kirby is still charting.

GT7 seems absent here. Interesting.
Sifu looks real nice with the steelbook and artbook. Im struggling on level 3. Its addictive to keep trying, game is a gem
Nice to see Sifu in there.
Wonder how Trek to Yomi did. Got it on Steam instead of GamePass because I wanted to play it on my SteamDeck. But after 15 min I stopped and waited until I got home to play it at 4K (It is so stunning that it is a waste to play it on a 7 inch screen in my book)
I have tons of screenshots at this point - every new scene I see something I need a picture of 😅
Now that Sifu has an adaptive difficulty level, I'm on my wish list.
Great to see Horizon still charting, game is a masterpiece!
You know what’ll help them chart higher again, a big durty sale 😗 take them to heights they could never imagine
glad to see the haters proven wrong about horizon. they should know better especially after sony advertised it like hell. I have no doubt it'll reach 25 million copies.
That Lego Star Wars game is rubbish, was happy to trade my copy in this week. I couldn't even finish it, due to a progress halting bug. Best Lego game in years!
Got Sifu last week and i'm loving it, had to lower it to student difficulty though as its brutal and i suck at these types of games haha
GT7 is MIA, guess the review bombing hurt the sales
I love the fact that the chart is free from the usual suspects of CoD, FIFA and BF.
@SweetSummerShunv
GTA 5 is there. 9 years after release
Where the hell is GT7. Done Elden Ring, almost as many hours on GT7 and I can see this game staying permanently in my games room PS5 where I have the seat and steering wheel and pedal setup. Love it. Love it.
Can you even buy a ps5 without horizon at the minute? Every ps5 bundle at Game etc comes with it
