The fantastically titled Yurukill: The Calumniation launches next month, 5th July, and it looks like it's going to be something quite unique.
If you didn't know, Yurukill combines a bizarre mixture of gameplay elements like visual novel segments in the vein of Phoenix Wright, shmup elements ala Ikaruga, and that very specific type of Japanese killing game setting, not unlike Danganronpa or Zero Escape.
It's a combination that really has to be seen to believe, and you can even try it out for yourself, as a demo was recently released for both PS5 and PS4.

I'll definitely give the demo a try. Hope the game's great.
Playing the demo on Switch.
It definitely seems more heavily slanted in the visual novel direction so far. I'm enjoying it, and the demo is apparently hours long, so it lets you experience a good chunk of the game.
This looks great! Definitely want to check this out
I'll give the demo a try for sure, certainly intrigued
A smash up of chalk and cheese genres then? Much like 13 Sentinels, and I adored that one. Demo is a good thing to have for an unknownish series
