Fall Guys is now free to play on PS5 and PS4, and its first live season, Free For All, has just begun. Today we got a new trailer showing some of the rewards you can work towards throughout the season's run.
There is a Season Pass available (featuring 100 levels of unlockables), where the meat of the season's offerings can be found, but there is also a free progression path for those looking to engage with the game in a more casual fashion.
Are you playing Fall Guys? Will you be picking up the Season Pass? Suit up in the comments section below.

I'm actually heartbroken, I love fall guys and them going the f2p route has absolutely killed this game for me. No longer can you buy cool outfits with crowns but now with only their microtransactions. I get that they have to make money but it is sad to see.
I logged in to it on the switch & unlocked a legacy pack must be from getting it with ps plus
@Kibinaaru I think it needed to happen though. In the last (non-F2P) season, I was finding it really difficult to find a match - the game was slowly dying. Going F2P and being made available on multiple consoles will hopefully bring it back to life. It seems like it’s done the trick when I was playing yesterday.
I don’t know how I feel about the new currency (Show Bucks) yet. I thought they would reward Show Bucks for winning a Show (similar to winning a Crown in past seasons) but they don’t. You only earn Show Bucks from the season pass and there aren’t many to earn. The only other way to get Show Bucks is to buy them from the item shop. I just hope they don’t make all the best costumes Show Bucks only purchases - will have to keep an eye on that.
There are some great costumes in the new Season Pass though and the new levels are really fun. They seem to have removed some of the more annoying levels from previous seasons (but Wall Guys is still there, sadly 😁).
Overall I feel positive about the change to F2P. It’s good to see some life back in the game and the Season Pass has some good costumes to unlock. Progression seems fair with the daily/weekly challenges giving you a good boost (I reached lvl 17 yesterday after an hour or so). I am going to miss Sony’s exclusive Playstation events/costumes though.
its fun, like Mario Party, great for kids. I keep falling like a noob though
Played a lot of this to begin with but havent played in about 9 months not sure I like the sound of the F2P model there going for. Is the Ps5 version much of an improvement?
I'm already bored with the levels lol.
I can tell there were alot of first time players when I fired it up for me and the kids. We were coming in first or at least the top 5 on most of the levels. New levels are always fun but some of the older ones are still great
@ferrarijared19 yeah, I could tell who the ‘newbs’ were too haha. It’s both a blessing (solo’s) and a curse (squads).
But something weird happened when I was playing squads yesterday… I was the only person in the round to qualify on Slime Climb so all of the other players were eliminated (except my squad) and we had to play a Hex-A-Gone Final round by ourselves. Never had that happen before but it was a nice easy win 😄
