Redout 2 is channelling the spirit of arcade racers that came before it, and its particular brand of anti-gravity racing draws immediate comparisons to the Wipeout and F-Zero franchises. It's available now, and we got a rip-roaring launch trailer to show off just exactly what players can expect from the game.
Featuring 36 unique tracks (all of which are reversible) and a variety of game modes, in addition to 12 -player online co-op and expansive customisation options, Redout 2 has more than enough content to keep even the most hardcore racers satisfied.

If the sense of speed in the actual game can match this, then sign me up! Looking forward to a review.
It has a strange colour palette
I sure do.
Psygnosis was great at making them until Sony bought them and ran them down.
I hope Firesprite doesn't meet the same end.
I would love to see a new Wipeout and a Rollcage (in cooperation with caged element). Grip's track design just wasn't Rollcage level, but it was better than nothing.
The games just need to grow to the next level and be more than only racers. Just like SF6 is adding it's own story mode and world to explore, i think these games would benefit from it as well.
They have to outgrown the arcade format.
No split-screen though? Just when you think couch multiplayer was making a comeback...
