No Man’s Sky, a game that never stops expanding, was already incredible with PSVR – but it promises to be revolutionary with PSVR2. There’s really not a massive amount to glean from this trailer: it’s Hello Games’ seminal survival game paired with Sony’s uber-powerful new headset. However! Writing on the PS Blog, creator Sean Murray teased there’ll be more information in the “coming months”.
“To experience No Man’s Sky in PSVR was a minor miracle,” he said, “such was the technical challenge we faced bringing an infinite seamless universe into the futuristic headset. Several years later, the technology has taken another major leap forward such that, now, we have the opportunity to immerse the player to a whole new level.”
He continued: “The power of PS5, coupled with the all-new PSVR2 hardware, including the new PSVR2 Sense controllers, combine to take that sense of immersion and believability up by several major notches.” We absolutely can’t wait to mine the infinite expanses of the galaxy, this time with PSVR2, once more!

Wheres the stray article?
Found it to be too blurry on PSVR1 so 2, along with new controllers should make NMS an incredible experience.
I got the platinum for this game a week after the original launch (and really enjoyed my time with it).
I think if I played it again now it would feel like a completely different game. It seems very different to what I remember anyway. Fair play to Hello Games for sticking by the game all these years.
@BritneyfR_ee I have to give them that they really redeemed themselves a lot of big studio's could learn from that.
Happy for fans that wanted this, but I shall be passing sadly.
Here's hoping Frontier do the same for Elite Dangerous.
I really enjoyed my time in No Man's Sky on PSVR. The controls were decent and the immersion was great. It's was blurry mess, but it was fun and I experienced some awe inspiring moments for sure, like standing on a desolate moon, looking out over a solar system and feeling truly alone. Really hoping they can nail the visuals on the new headset. If they do, I'll probably sink another 20 hours in.
@ApostateMage Unfortunately, Frontier seems to have abandoned console versions completely, to focus solely on pc.

@Stevenfins What a p**ser. I was looking forward to Odyssey eventually or at least a PS5 version of the base game. Gutted.
@AdamNovice I haven't tried it yet, but I've heard that NMS looks much better on PSVR 1 when attached to the PS5.
@MoistEmphasis3 Not that long ago the game got PS4 Pro support, it sure looks better now!
