Minecraft’s already been a Diablo-esque dungeon crawler, so it’s pretty versatile. We suppose Minecraft Legends is no real surprise, then – an “action strategy game” coming in 2023. “Explore a gentle land of rich resources and lush biomes on the brink of destruction,” the press release teases. “The ravaging piglins have arrived, and it’s up to you to inspire your allies and lead them in strategic battles to save the Overworld!”

To be honest, we didn’t get a massive feel for what the gameplay flow will be like here, and the press release don’t make it much clearer. Nevertheless, it’s cool how Mojang continues to iterate on such an established series, and our attention has certainly been piqued by this announcement. What do you reckon?
