Potion Permit is a charming life-sim in which you play as a Chemist sent to the picaresque town of Moonbury in order to cure the mayor's daughter, who has fallen ill with a mysterious sickness.
You gather reagents and concoct potions through a cool alchemical minigame, and engage in some simple combat, all the while accompanied by a cute dog. What's not to love? We'll be keeping an eye on this one ahead of its 22 September release date on PS5 and PS4.

Yup, I will pick the PS5 version. 🙂
Please support this indie game from my country Indonesia. 🇮🇩 😊
Might check that out, would love an alternate take on Stardew
Sounds like Stardew Valley, instant day one purchase for me.
Looks charming. Hopefully it has at least a little of the Stardew magic. There's a charm and X factor in that game that raises it above similar fare.
I'll be checking this out, I love stardew valley/harvest moon/story of seasons type games. Another one in the same vein is graveyard keeper, which is a ton of fun. it's only on steam though unfortunately there's no console port available
Game journalists: this game is Stardew Valley but you’re not a farmer, you do X instead
Me: Wow that sounds fun. <proceeds to start another stardew valley 100hr run>
This looks so good!
@starnivore Graveyard Keeper is on console too. It's even on the new PS+ Extra.
Given ex-Stardew publisher Chucklefish's recent disdain towards Playstation owners means there'll ever be a PS Witchbrook alongside undoubted Switch/other consoles, this might be the closest there'll be to getting a similar game.
@themuckman oh I didn't know! I first played it years ago so I must have missed the console port releasing since
I think the pun "Atelier Stardew" works
@starnivore it's only the base game of Graveyard Keeper on PS+ and at least one of the subsequently released DLCs is pretty essential and transformative, but it's a good way for people to see if the game is for them.
These games need a sprint button lol, only blemish of Stardew Valley was how slow your character walked.
If I see the words “stardew valley” in any comparison, I’m in.
None are as exciting as his own new game, Haunted Chocolatier though.
