Who remembers Q.U.B.E.? Following the arrival of the massively influential Portal and Portal 2, this first-person puzzler launched to modest success back in 2012. It's been a full decade since, and to celebrate, developer Toxic Games has announced Q.U.B.E. 10th Anniversary, a brand new version of the game "completely rebuilt from the ground up".
This new edition of the puzzler features both the original release and the Director's Cut version. They've been recreated in Unreal Engine 4 with revamped visuals and some revisions to level design. On top of that, there's a developer commentary track, a selection of extras like concept art and music playback, and perhaps most exciting, all-new content. Q.U.B.E. 10th Anniversary will feature a new chapter called Sector 8, bringing about four to six hours of extra puzzles to solve.
That's not the only news Toxic Games has to share, either. Q.U.B.E. 2 will also be making the leap to PS5 at the same time, so you'll have both games looking their best on current-gen hardware.
Q.U.B.E. 10th Anniversary is heading to PS5 and PS4 this summer. Are you interested in tackling this brain-teaser once more, or for the first time? Let us know in the comments section below.

I just beat (and platinum’d) QUBE 2 two weeks ago and thought about how it needed a native PS5 version. I guess they heard my call. If the update is free, I’ll go through them again. Super easy trophies. Love this series.
Man, the song that played on the PS3 dashboard... And then I flipped the switch... Grrr
Solid little game this.
Not really a fan of puzzle games but this one was very enjoyable.
Loved loved loved Q.U.B.E. 2 and cannot wait to play its predecessor! Brilliant stuff.
The original game was so broken I was unable to finish it, being a puzzler I really thorght it was simple but that wasn't the case, tried multiple times and always fell into the abyss so gave up, I might give this a go if original owners of the 1st game get the anniversary version for free but I won't hold my breath 😒😒
Still really ugly from an art direction standpoint.
Bought and finished QUBE2 this week after its first sale in years. Highly recommend it, one of my favourite puzzle games on PlayStation alongside Talos Principle and Witness. So odd this is getting an upgrade though as I've not heard anyone mention it since it was first reviewed. Figured it didn't sell well enough for an upgrade to be worth the effort.
