As rumoured earlier in the week, it looks like Sony will announce a new line of gamer-focused products on 28th June. The initiative – apparently not led by PlayStation – will span several new announcements, including a trio of headsets which have already leaked and a couple of gaming monitors that have been rumoured. All of the items will be branded under a new INZONE label, but it’s unclear whether the PS5’s rumoured “pro” controller will be part of this push.
A Twitter post, which confirms a 2PM PT/10PM BST announcement, includes the slogan ‘Find Your New Zone’ – effectively underlining the rumours. Despite the gamer angle, though, this initiative doesn’t appear to involve PlayStation in any real capacity – at least not yet, anyway. Unless that changes once the products are actually revealed, this could very well be another bizarre example of Sony’s surprisingly fractured business divisions.
To be fair, it is rumoured that the aforementioned gaming monitors – apparently slated to be available in 4K and 1080p permutations – will feature “perfect for PS5” functionality, including a framerate counter and automatic contrast options. You can learn more about all of that through here. Will you be keeping an eye on this new product line? Start saving in the comments section below.

Rumours of a potential GoW Ragnarok SoP gather pace since the same people that mentioned these products said we'll find out GoW's release date next week.
@AdamNovice I think it's probably going to be all unrelated, unfortunately.
EDIT: Of course God of War could still happen, but if it does, I doubt it'll be connected to this! Alas, we'll see!
Every time I hear Sony and hardware I hope something related to PSVR2…
@get2sammyb Oh no I don't think it'll all be part of one announcement, SoPs usually happen on Thursdays anyway. What I meant was the people mentioning these hardware products also said stuff was happening with GoW. So with this news, it adds a lot of credibility now.
If there’s one thing the female population can agree on, it’s that gamers really do need to work on finding zones.
Just make a “sony PC” at this point then . the ps5 is still just a console no matter how much they try to spruce it up .
Odd they don't use PlayStation branding for gaming-focused peripherals.
I honestly prefer the look of the 3D audio Headphones we already have! So unless they reveal the controle, it's cheap and has nice features...I don't care!
PS5 Slim model with cheaper price, 1 or 2 TB size and White color please...
I've already got a decent TV and headphones, I'm interested to see if that pro controller makes an appearance.
A Dualsense Pro controller with back buttons? Or at least another back button attachment? The PS4 back button attachment really spoiled me, I'd take back buttons over adaptive triggers.
I've rarely used the adaptive triggers feature since my right trigger spring broke on the first day I tried it out. I wasnt really fond of it to be honest. I've also been afraid to use it again because the Dualsense has already given me issues.
First the trigger spring broke, which Sony seems to have quietly fixed? Apparently new model controllers have a thicker trigger spring. Then my 2nd brand new controller had major stick drift out of the box. Seriously, why is stick drift even a problem? I've never experienced drift until the latest console generation.
Never had drift on anything prior to the Switch and PS5. Even my PS3 and 360 sticks work perfectly. 🤦♂️🤷♂️ I've heard the Xbox Elite controllers have bad stick drift issues. I would be livid if that was the case due to their high price point.
It will be based around Sony electronics division than SIE products so nothing to get excited over unless you are looking for a new PC monitor of gaming headset.
Jimmy really needs to get in a room with the other Sony execs and work on collaboration. Why wouldn’t you at least use PlayStation branding for this stuff? Makes no sense whatsoever.
Guys in the comments, this has nothing to do with PlayStation, lower your expectations
This is about the new Sony Inzone gaming headsets and Sony “Perfect for PS5” gaming monitors
@TheCollector316 They aren't using PlayStation branding because it's for the PC market not the PlayStation market. It's just that certain items will also be 'perfect' for the PS5.
I imagine they're trying to find a bigger piece of the PC action now that their games are being released to that market.
@Grimwood I know a couple of people who thought the same as you and sent theirs back. So with that in mind, that and I think the Pulse look awful anyway, I'm hoping these headsets have good integration with the PS5. Otherwise I guess I'll have to go with the Steelseries 7P+ and get used to the lack of integrated game/chat volume adjustment.
@AdamNovice We can still have a God of War SoP next Thursday (June 30), Sony's been known to wait on announcing SoP dates until the Tuesday before sometimes.
Inzone? that sounds kinda silly
Should just keep them the Sony branding
or just Bravia for the monitors
A smaller, slimmer PS5 - that's all I'd be interested in if Sony were turning up, rather than the current eyesore.
I want ps5 slim with horizontal design like normal console 😃
Hoping for a 1440p monitor and a PS5 firmware update to make it compatible with that resolution.
Find your back triggers ....
Also psvr2 would be super amazing.
I too am hoping for a slim version. 1 of the reasons why I haven't been chasing to get a PS5.
@nomither6 Sony already made PC's, they sold that business along time ago.
@marty8370 oh . i’m gonna research then . i’d actually like and want a sony PC that’s integral with PSN and STEAM
@nessisonett Hash-tag not all gamers? 🤣
I hope they announce something useful instead of PS focused monitors and headsets.
I hope this is a range of 1440p monitors so the PS5 can finally have that feature unlocked.
