JRPG developer CyberConnect2 has officially announced Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2, a sequel to the excellent Fuga: Melodies of Steel.
While no release date has been announced or platforms revealed, we did get a teaser website that indicates more information will be revealed at the Fuga: Melodies of Steel 1st Anniversary Special Broadcast. The event will take place on 28 July.
Fuga: Melodies of Steel is set in the Little Tail Bronx universe, in which people are literally either dog-people or cat-people. You play as a group of anthropomorphic children who have commandeered a massive tank called the Taranis and used it to fight back against the invading Berman Empire.
With its charming art style and engaging tactical combat, Fuga: Melodies of Steel presented a striking package, and here's hoping CyberConnect2 can top it with the sequel.
While no platforms have been announced yet, the original game came to both PS5 and PS4.
Did you play Fuga: Melodies of Steel? Are you excited about the sequel? Batten down the hatches in the comments section below.

This is funny, I've been chasing a deal on Fuga 1 for several months and now they announced the sequel, I think I just need to make the jump.
I am very excited for this. I love the first game, and feel it's a shame it didn't get more press!
Never heard of this popular "fuga" thing.
Gonna google it now out of curiosity.
First game was incredible so this is a pleasant surprise
