Engage in some medieval mayhem in Evil Dead: The Game with the free Army of Darkness update, which introduces weapons, locations and cosmetic items pulled straight out of Sam Raimi's 1992 comedy-horror of the same name. Even better, the update is live now.
Featuring a new map populated with landmarks like Castle Kandar, Fort Gort and the Arthurian Outpost, players will be able to bludgeon and blast their way through hordes of undead beasts with the Mace and Explosive Crossbow.
An Exploration Mode has also been added to the game, which will allow solo players to freely explore any map they like without the interference of those pesky other players.

This is funny timing. Just watched "Dr Strange Assembled" on Disney+ (FYI Dr Strange MoM making of) which was hosted by Bruce Campbell b/c Sam Raimi directed it, so I was telling my kid all about how Evil Dead scared me to death at a Halloween party in 1983.
How does the single player mode of this game work?
Hey, it's it's not its! It's***!!!
@sonicmeerkat Random missions/quests as far as I can tell, besides the "prologue" which acts as a tutorial.
This game is very much geared towards multiplayer and it shows.
How is the game for people that don’t play online? Are the bots and everything pretty good still?
"KLAATU! VERATU!...cough, cough..necktie.."
