The popular deck-building game Inscryption that has made a real name for itself on PC appears to be preparing a PS4 version as an Australian age rating is spotted for Sony's last-gen system. In almost all cases, these classifications are for real projects that do see the light of day and release. Up until now, Inscryption is only available on PC storefronts, with "overwhelmingly positive" user reviews on Steam.

For those who don't know, the game is fairly unique in its structure. While it is a "deckbuilding roguelike", you'll be solving puzzles and escape rooms along the way. "Inscryption is an inky black card-based odyssey that blends the deckbuilding roguelike, escape-room style puzzles, and psychological horror into a blood-laced smoothie. Darker still are the secrets inscrybed upon the cards..." It costs £16.79/$19.99 on PC, so expect a similar price on the PS Store.

On Metacritic, the indie title has a rating of 85. "Inscryption is an oddity of the best order. It's a horror game that isn't aggressively trying to scare you. It's also a clever card system wrapped around a compelling mystery that plays with video game conventions," said Game Informer.
