Following an unfortunate leak by the way of the Australian age ratings board, popular indie game Inscryption has been confirmed for a PS5, PS4 release. A release date wasn't attached to the PlayStation Blog news blast, but it did confirm the title will fully utilise the PS5 DualSense controller. While it is pitched as a deck-building roguelike, everything we've heard about the game suggests it's so much more than that.
To borrow the words of creator Daniel Mullins, Inscryption is "an inky black card-based odyssey that’s part deck-building roguelike, part escape-room puzzler and part psychological horror. As video game genres go, it’s a pretty potent concoction. What starts out as a devilish deck-builder soon becomes something altogether different, but I’ll leave you to discover its darkest secrets for yourself."
The PS5 version of Inscryption will make full use of the DualSense controller, utilising every one of its features. Haptic feedback will be active, and so too will the pad's speakers and light bar. The support will only enhance what is already said to be an excellent indie title. On Metacritic, Inscryption commands a critical rating of 85.

Best trailer ever
I got this on Steam last year. To call this game just a "deck-building roguelike" is a painful understatement. It's amazing in every way. The more blind you walk into this game the better. It's worth every penny.
Cool, been jealously eyeing this up for a while.
I watched a Let's Play of this game but stopped before it got too in depth because this game looks absolutely fascinating, can't wait to play it when it comes to PS5, especially with that DualSense support.
I love the style i love these weird little games the more the better.
I’ve heard great things but the words ‘deck-building roguelike’ make me want to spoon a cheese grater.
Don't get me wrong; this game is amazing and I'm glad it's coming to PlayStation but just like DDLC and Undertale, this game is best experienced on PC.
Trying not to spoil the game, there is some things that happens on the PC version that is simply impossible to replicate on console version :/
Still excited though
I am interested in how they're gonna utilize the Dualsense's haptic feedback 🤔
