Would be great if PS app would not notify me about items from wishlist on sale every 1-2 hours!
A few of my wishlist games on sale, but only down to their usual price.
I'm not gonna lie - there's a few games there that I wanna play but having just been granted access to the PS Plus catalogue - it'll probably be a while before I buy another game that's not a) a very high profile one that I want to play immediately (TLOU, GOW) or b) discounted way more than 20%
Tempted to bite on Stanley Parable. But to be honest PS++ and Game Pass have had a load of great games in the last month, already have too much to play, and that's before the backlog. Should hold off... but probably won't
I might bite on Disco, not sure if I'll like it tbh but it's a game that's been calling for a while now. And at £16 it's not too much of a loss if it's not for me.
Going to give Sifu & Stanley Parable a go methinks.
Sonic Origins is already 9 euros cheaper. Seems like yesterday when I preordered it. Also wasn't The Quarry released some days ago? On the other hand, from the top of my head I don't remember Forbidden West or Elden Ring being discounted. Some games keep constantly appearing over and over in those discounts. Neptunia X Senran Kagura: Ninja Wars is, to my knowledge, for the first time in discount but | don't think they will update this version to include the new PC content.
Time to finally play Outer Wilds
Im near the end of Stray now which is almost gaming purrrfection so House Of Ashes and Chernobylite look tempting at those prices
If you are tempted by Persona 5 royal at 19.99 scroll a bit further to find the delux edition 16.49, just a little PSA to save a few quid
I'm interested in Deaths Door and The Ascent, both on sale, but you just know they're going to be on PS Extra in the coming months.
Put another way, without PS Extra I'd have been on here posting how I'd just bought them.
It's going to save me a load of money 👍
I’m curious if there is also a discount on the $10 upgrade fee on Legacy of Thieves for owners of the PS4 ver. of UC4/LL. Anyone know? @LiamCroft
I can put in my PS4 disc into my PS5 and check later when I’m home, but I was just wondering. It’s not like $10 is a whole lot, but every little bit helps.
Dang i was looking to add kingdom hearts to my digital library moving forward over physical but why so expensive? These were on sale at like $10 last year and now $40
I got so many games to play on ps plus premium, I don't think I will buy to many games anymore. The next game I buy will probably be god of war Ragnarok
@The_Pixel_King Without the strong likelihood of it ending up on Extra, or without the sheer amount of games that Extra has already provided me with that I still haven't played, I definitely would.
The quarry's just come out aswell I'd be pretty p***** off if God of war goes on sale a few months after release when I've pre ordered it
@Slippship they're always £12 each when they're on sale on the switch aswell lol
@Would_you_kindly why?
If you want to play at launch, buy it at launch.
If you don't mind waiting for a discount, wait a few months for a discount.
There you go. No reason to be upset over it.
I'd hold off anyone buying Dark Pictures House of Ashes, considering the first 2 Dark Pictures games on on PS Plus Extra. So hazard a guess House of Ashes will come to the subscription too
@naruball because they don't tell you how long it will be before it is discounted if they did then I could make a decision on weather or not paying full price would be worth it for me or not
@Tsushima Beware, there is quite a bug in Chernobylite! The game has tendency to delete your saves when you are near the end as my friend experienced it recently (and almost broke controller in half). Developer said this issue has been fixed but clearly not.
Uh oh.
@Futureshark cant go wrong with Sifu. Once you get the hang of it and learn the levels it makes you feel real bad ass as you take out enemy after enemy. Ive not completed it yet as other stuff got in the way but its such a good game.
Nothing in the sales for me. Im still addicted to Monster hunter rise/sunbreak and intend to take out a month of extra to play the delightful looking Stray.
@Matej Really, might rethink getting Chernobylite then shame because it looks decent similar to Metro or Stalker
@EquiinoxGII just grabbed it myself, after hearing so many good things... feel like this kind of isometric/ crpg is having a bit of a revival, which I'm here for.
@Tsushima Yeah, my friend was really looking forward to it, quite enjoyed his playthrough but you can imagine the frustration when his saves were gone one day.
@Would_you_kindly unfortunately they are never going to say, on the 20th December this game will be £10 cheaper for you. And then in January we are knocking it down to £20. Those sales are there to get those to buy the game who were hesitant in the first place.
Well since i have ps4 & xbox consoles. Psn store fail compare to xbox store. Way better the promos for xbox consoles. Half the price if compare to psn. Shame sony.shame
@Voltan
That's my thinking as well, and I also have gamepass, so there has to be a really, really great deal to get me to buy a game right now
@Matej you too? It doesn't normally do this but I've been getting notifications over and over throughout the day today. I've gotten about 5 and it's not even quite noon for me. Really getting old.
@zupertramp Yes, I had to turn off the notifications because it was driving me crazy.
Almost always ends up being cheaper physical if that is an option.
I bought Monster Boy. I've been waiting for a sale for ages and am looking forward to playing it
@EquiinoxGII I know , I obviously don't dislike sales & I wish Nintendo would put it's games on sale after a year or 2 but when a game goes on sale so soon after release it feels like you're being charged more for supporting them at launch
Xposed is only 9 cents. No idea what the game, but you're practically losing money by not buying it.
@Would_you_kindly yeah it's very frustrating, I get your pain and annoyance. I tend to wait now after being burned a few times, but if the games totally worth the entry price I tend to just get In, which i'll do with GOW.. and I did with Horizon, I actually sold Horizon after I'd platinum'd it and got most of my money back, so that's always a good shout.
