Netflix has announced its animated series Tekken: Bloodline will hit the service on 18th August 2022. To go along with the announcement is this new story trailer, which reveals a little more about Jin Kazama's journey.
To recap, this is an origin tale of sorts for Jin, who is trained up by Heihachi Mishima after his mother is killed. Of course, the series will lead straight into the King of Iron Fist Tournament, and we get to see the extended cast of characters we all recognise. King, Paul, Nina, Hwoarang, Leroy — and obviously, Ogre is mentioned several times.
It's looking pretty promising, and we love that it echoes the visual flair of the games, with hits landing with flashy sparks and other effects. The jury is still out, but we're looking forward to giving this a watch next month.

Looks good. Will be on my list for sure
Looks cool. I played Tekken 1-3 on PS1 but literally have no idea what is going on now. It was already getting pretty wild, can't imagine how bonkers the interfamily rivalry BS must have gotten by now.
Cor, look at all those beefcakes! 😍
As a life long fan, this is looking pretty good! Characters seem pretty decent and all the combat looks like it lives up to the game! Let's just forget that live-action movie ever happened....
This CG style is looking more or less alright, not a fan but it could have looked worse I guess. Atleast its watchable.
Also seems its confirmed that we will see more "post-TK3" characters beyond Leroy. I saw Feng (0:55) in there, thats neat.
I will give this a watch, I liked Tekken 1-4.
Looks awsome im going to see this on day one.
I've never played the Tekken games before, but might check out this series!
The serie was quite fun to watch.
