Spirit Hunter: Death Mark II is the next title in the Spirit Hunter series, horror-adventure games that revolve around the investigation of grisly spiritual incidents, and features creepy creatures inspired by Japanese folklore.
Incorporating elements of visual novels, detective-style gameplay, and tabletop-roleplaying games, Spirit Hunter: Death Mark II will appeal to fans of both the Dangonronpa and Zero Escape franchises but has its own supernatural spin.
Releasing in Japan on 1 December, Spirit Hunter: Death Mark II will release worldwide on PS4 in 2023.

Spirit Hunter Death Mark and Spirit Hunter NG are some of the most underrated horror games on PS4 so I cannot wait for this!
Anyone into horror or visual novels at all (Danganronpa, Zero Escape particularly) would really enjoy this. The only thing is it's best with a guide! I'm so happy this series gets to continue 🥲
Death Mark was a flawed, but deeply interesting and atmospheric horror-themed adventure game, so I'm glad to hear we're getting a proper sequel soon.
This is great news!
I very much enjoyed Death Mark and just bought NG on sale. The Japanese certainly do make some incredible horror experiences.
Somewhat related, I'm currently playing through a slick indie psychological horror VN called Corpse Factory. It's very Japanese but was made here in Australia by way of Melbourne. Only on Switch and PC so far. Recommended.
Loved the first two, and been very excited for this third entry, but I still don't believe it, before I see it actually being released in Japan. Its been delayed so many times now..
