We're on a turtle-fuelled high after the wonderful TMNT: Shredder's Revenge, so we've been waiting to hear more about the upcoming retro package, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection. After a bit of a wait, we finally have a release date, and it's only a few weeks away, launching on PS5 and PS4 on 30th August 2022.
The date is revealed in this new trailer, which highlights some of the benefits of this collection. It's a pretty comprehensive selection of Turtles titles, and is set to feature online play, save states, and rewind. Additionally, there will be a museum filled with artwork like sketches and concept art.
For those nostalgic for these old-school TMNT adventures, this is shaping up to be an essential purchase. Fortunately it's not too far away. Will you be getting the Cowabunga Collection? Grab a slice in the comments section below.

This should be offered as part of PS+ premium
Day one! I can't wait for this!
I remember being blown away by the SNES port of Turtles in Time as a kid. The cost to nostalgia ratio for this collection is outstanding.
Finally. I'll be double dipping on this one like I did for Shredder's Revenge but this time I'll be buying physical for both PS5 and Switch.
I used to be good enough at the first on NES that I could beat in 30 minutes without loosing a single Turtle. Of course... that happens when it's the only game you play for half a year.
I like all the love TMNT has been getting lately.
@DualWielding useless comment.
Day 1, been looking forward to this since it was announced.
@DualWielding Oh no, GamePass syndrome has come to PS.
The timing couldn't be more perfect. Get everyone hyped on shredders revenge then pump this out!
@mrraditch I was just thinking that. 😂
This won't be a day one purchase, but will def pick up in a cheap $15 sale!
