F1 22, the latest Formula One racer from Codemasters, debuts at number one in the UK's physical chart with some impeccable timing. Launching just before the British Grand Prix got underway at Silverstone, it's no wonder the game arrives in first place, with the PS5 and PS4 versions combined accounting for 71 per cent of copies sold.
Elsewhere, Horizon Forbidden West holds onto second place thanks to a more steady flow of PS5 stock, while LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga actually moves up a spot into fourth. FIFA 22 bounces back into the top 10 in number six, and GTA 5 has been inched out once again, now in 11th. Meanwhile, Gran Turismo 7 has been slowly climbing back towards the bestsellers, now in 12th, up two positions on last week.
Here's the latest top 10 in full.

Well I definitely contributed to F1 2022 making the top spot - I bought the PS5 disc version on Amazon, where it was £55. There’s no way I was paying £70 for it.
You could sell sand on a beach after a race like that.... "GET IN THERE LEWIS"!!
So close. If it hadn't been for that last safety car, he'd surely have been on the top step of the podium.
What.
A.
Race.
@TheDarkSide I doubt it, Leclerc had the race covered till the safety car, at that point he was too quick to catch.
@TheDarkSide Fantastic race! I was literally on the edge of my seat for nearly half of it. Really wanted to see Lewis on the top step of the podium, but it was still nice to see Sainz get his maiden win in F1.
@TheDarkSide second maybe, no way he was catching Leclerc
@AdamNovice yeah I've seen so many on Facebook claiming this too. Lewis was 6 seconds back with 13 laps to go and another Ferrari between, never catching him.
Great race though
Damn Horizon still slayin? The legs are longer than the legs of a Tallneck.
Strangely, where I'm from, it seems like the Xbox one is selling the best. I think the Playstation crowd is playing GT7, which is a big game. I'm seing people with 3-500 hours playtime already in the game.
and yet again physical game sales chart is useless if you dont count digital sales then your missing a massive part of the sales data
I am far from surprised that DNF duel didn’t chart. Guilty Gear Strive didn’t and that was way more popular. DNF duel had some of the worst marketing I’ve seen for a modern release—it had almost no show presence, the characters were revealed randomly with 30 second trailers, Street Fighter 6 outclassed it in almost every way for audiences in June, and it looks extremely similar to other ArcSys games on the onset.
I am a bit surprised at what happened to Fire Emblem tho, how did that game get number one last week then immediately fall out?
