Throwback skateboarding sim Session will beat Skate to the grind rail this year, when it tail-slides to PS5 and PS4 on 22nd September. This one has been in early access for a little while, but is all finished up now – and eager for your attention. Pitched as a celebration of 90s skating culture, you’ll be hitting up “iconic skating locations” with a camcorder in tow, capturing your best tricks and lines.
The press release adds: “Designed to be as challenging as real-life skating, you will feel authentic sensations through the controller thanks to innovative gameplay designed by skaters for skaters.” Is this one on your wishlist at all, or will you be waiting for Skate? Don’t you dare bail on us, and leave your thoughts in the comments section below.

I have this on Steam and while there’s a definite lack of content given it’s early access, the physics feel really great. Definitely more of a hardcore sim than Skate though.
Well, since the Tony Hawk games are dead again. At least new skateboard games are coming.
Whilst the game may be ok, the trailer is awful, trully trying to understand why skate in the dark? The artist may have thought it looked 'edgy', but it just means you can barely see anything.
Compare this with 'skates' recent excellent trailer and its an absolute no contest.
I hope the games better than the trailer! 😀
I have it on Steam, it’s very hard haha. Skating is hard so I guess that makes sense. Impressive physics tech, their early access journey has been interesting to follow.
