A third entry in the Voice of Cards series from Yoko Taro and Square Enix is seemingly ready for a PS4 launch as Twitter account PlayStation Game Size has found a listing for The Beasts of Burden on the backend of the PS Store. This would be the third instalment in the space of just one year after The Isle Dragon Roars released in October 2021 and was then followed up by The Forsaken Maiden five months later.
The profile in question also shared the key art for The Beasts of Burden, which you can view below:
The two prior Voice of Cards have both been of reasonably good quality, each awarded a 7/10 in our PS4 reviews. RPGs disguised as card games, this third entry will likely be very similar given the short turnaround. Are you interested in some more Voice of Cards action? Let us know in the comments below.

Third!?!? I didn’t even realise that there’d been a second! 🤔
Hope they release a physical version with all three games on disc some day.
Waiting until then, or when they will go cheap enough to buy digitally.
Square Enix are smart, why charge customers for one game when you can split the game into 3 parts and charge more 😂I'm sure each game has it's own separate story with only minor gameplay tweaks, but this seems like if Square made people pay for routes A, B and C separately for Nier Automata.
Glad something so niche is successful enough to peddle off three games in a year and a half
SE should make nier automata 2 with yoko taro & platinum games rather than making games like this, there's no hype for this game (and the second game) at all 😕
I guess these games must be selling well, because they seem to have a proper assembly line in place.
Liked the first one, have second one on wishlist, waiting for a sale on it.
That was quick, hasn't even been a year since the first was released (October 2021 if I'm not mistaken).
I think I wait until this game gets, hopefully, bundled with the first two.
I am really hoping for these games to come on a disc.
