Capcom has announced it is hosting two showcase events during TGS 2022, one of which will be a more general event focusing on its full lineup while the other will be all about the upcoming Street Fighter 6. The former, which is called the TGS2022 Capcom Online Program, takes place on 15th September 2022. at 3pm BST / 7am PT / 10am ET. The Street Fighter 6 livestream is a day later on 16th September 2022, and begins one hour later than the aforementioned times.
If you happen to be attending the event, with public days being the 17th and 18th September 2022, the following games will be playable on the show floor:
PS5 remake Resident Evil 4 will likely be part of the general event, and Resident Evil Village DLC Shadows of Rose feels like a shoo-in too. Since Exoprimal is playable at the show itself, Exoprimal will probably appear in some form too. As for stuff like Dragon's Dogma 2 and Pragmata, though, it's likely either too early or not a big enough stage to show much of anything meaningful.
Street Fighter fans will want to tune in for the sixth entry's dedicated livestream, however, as it's likely to feature another character reveal. "Catch all the freshest SF6 updates in this live stream," the official website teases. So far, the likes of Guile, Kimberly, and Juri have been confirmed for the game. Although, since the entire launch roster has already leaked, we already know who we'll be facing off against next year.
Which showcase will you be watching next month? Stock up on popcorn in the comments below.

My body is ready for ALL the Street Fighter. 😅
It’s likely gonna be a new character + a veteran, like what happened at EVO. I would really like it if we got a launch window soon tho.
Man, I gotta see more about Pragmata. It was the best looking game from Sony’s original PS5 presentation and we still know next to nothing about the game, outside it having a 2023 release window.
Looks like 2023 will be a big year for Capcom. Between Capcom and Square, the game industry is thriving.
Megaman Legends on Switch please. I'm begging you Capcom...PLEASE.
I am hoping we might get some juicy World Tour details as well as of course a new trailer featuring one new and one legacy character. I've noticed a pattern of revealing a legacy character, then a new one, and repeat.
1st: Ryu
2nd: Luke (Yes technically he was in SFV but he still feels new to me)
3rd: Chun-Li
4th: Jamie
5th: Guile
6th: Kimberly
7th : Juri
Looking forward to TGS this year. It's shaping up to be a good one!
@somnambulance You’re absolutely right. Capcom and Squenix are killing it, and a bunch of other studios are doing good things as well. It’s really impressive how many companies weathered the storm of lock downs, state of emergency restrictions, and a complete shift in how work is done, and are once again hitting their stride.
More Street Fighter 6 news is always welcome.
God, I want a MH6 teaser.
@Deoxyr1bose I'd put money on it releasing Feb-Mar next year
SF6 open beta pls. They gotta test net code at some point right?
@DrClayman I honestly don’t believe that window like people are saying. Mainly because Resident Evil 4 comes out in that same time period. I don’t think Capcom wants to cannibalize sales. I’m personally thinking either May or June, sometime before Evo definitely.
@Deoxyr1bose I don't think they care that much about that. RE2 remake and DMC5 came out within about a month and a half of each other, and I feel there's much more crossover between those two titles, than between resi and SF.
Not saying it couldn't be as far as May, but my feeling is earlier in the year, to give people some time to figure out the game before competitions. Combo Breaker is end of May, I don't think they'd still want SF5 there.
@z0d15g0d they better . you couldn’t even play SFV online because of how bad it was , and why they didn’t have voice chat in the game is still bizarre .
but then again …it’s street fighter 5 , so any negatives i’m not surprised with anyway 😂
Alongside new fighter reveal for SF6 and more news on MMBN Collection, I'm more curious on any possible official Ace Attorney 7 news then anything else right now.
@invictus4000 We'll most likely get a Legends collection a few years after the Battle Network games launch.
So maybe 2025 if we're lucky, 2026 worse case. That's assuming of course they don't release the StarForce collection before Legends.
