Sci-fi adventure game Deliver Us Mars has joined Hogwarts Legacy in a delay that pushes it back to 2nd February 2023. Originally set for a release on PS5, PS4 next month, studio KeokeN Interactive says it wants to make sure the title is "the best it can be at launch" and so needs more time to "live up to that ambition". A new trailer will be included in the Future Games Show next week, as part of Gamescom 2022.

A post from the developer on Twitter continues: "Whilst we understand this news might be disappointing, we are excited for you all to face the challenges of Mars, traverse its hostile environments, and discover the mystery of the ARKs. Your patience will allow us to deliver the best experience we can."

Deliver Us Mars is the sequel to 2020's Deliver Us the Moon, which recently received a free PS4 to PS5 upgrade. Both versions are currently part of PS Plus Extra. A list of All PS Plus Games can be viewed through the link.

While not as high profile, Deliver Us Mars joins the growing list of games delayed out of 2022 and into next year. The aforementioned Hogwarts Legacy is one of them, and so too is Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, potentially Marvel's Midnight Suns, Arc Raiders, Forspoken, Sea of Stars, and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.
