Dusk Divers 2 blends fast-paced and frenetic action RPG gameplay with a stylish anime aesthetic, and it's coming to PS5 and PS4 on 30th August.
In a new trailer detailing the game's combat system, we learn more about how you can lay an extended beat down upon any Chaos Beasts unfortunate to cross your path. Combat in Dusk Divers 2 looks more like something out of a fighting game than a traditional action RPG, with in-depth combos, aerial movies, counters, and support skills, with each character getting their unique, signature skills to boot.
It looks like a solid foundation for this kind of game, and we will be excited to see how the rest of it pans out. For more information, there is a fantastic write-up over on the PlayStation Blog that dives into the nitty-gritty of the game's combat mechanics and is well worth a read for anyone interested in Dusk Divers 2.

It looks like a lot of fun but between the fact I'll probably still be going through Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and have games pre-ordered that are higher priority, this one will probably fall into the 'wait for sale'' category. Looks like something I'd enjoy playing, though.
Is the gameplay a more expanded version of the first game? Though it was simple I actually enjoyed it.
