The Gamescom Opening Night Live teases are coming thick and fast today as Geoff Keighley confirms the first piece of paid Dying Light 2 DLC, named Bloody Ties, will be part of next week's show. A short teaser trailer has been released — which you can catch above — and much more will be shown during the live show on Tuesday 23rd August 2022.
This expansion is expected to arrive in September, so it'll be a fairly quick turnaround from announcement to release for the PS5, PS4 DLC. Since release in February, Techland has been supporting the open worlder with small, free updates. This next bit of content represents Dying Light 2's first meaty addition.
Other announcements slated for Gamescom Opening Night Live are The Callisto Protocol gameplay, a fresh look at Hogwarts Legacy, and news from Sonic Frontiers. Have you been waiting for Dying Light 2 DLC news? Survive the night in the comments below.

Would be good if they can confirm if the balanced graphics mode will come to ps5, not bothered if it doesn't but would be nice to be informed.
I am holding back on playing DL2 until I upgrade to current gen, and hopefully also some fun DL2 dlc at that time. However this dlc looks to be a paid for arena dlc, and that doesn't interest me.
