Arc System Works celebrated the first anniversary of Guilty Gear Strive during the game's Evo 2022 finals, confirming that the fantastic fighter has passed 1 million copies sold. Not bad, but do you know what's even better? The developer felt the need to spend some big bucks on a brilliantly animated anniversary video, which you can watch above.
It's over two minutes of pure Guilty Gear goodness, following the storyline of series protagonist Sol Badguy. That's his Guilty Gear Strive theme playing over the whole thing, too.
As far as gifts to a game's community go, this is pretty cool. And even if you aren't a Guilty Gear fan, surely you can still appreciate the slickness of this animation. Lovely stuff.

Now I want full guilty gears anime with this quality animations, or devil may cry 5 like action games starring sol. Both are fine too π
Damn that was really well animated.
Great MV.
I want a proper GG anime so bad.
I genuinely donβt know what people see in anime but then Iβm a trophy hunter so each to their own lol
Ohh.. I dunno.. I was just sick.
That was beautiful!
Arcsys has always done a phenomenal job with trailers. But these last few years they have really stepped up their game. This is no exception. Gorgeous and really well done.
@Coolmusic @wiiware Same here, I would watch a legit Guilty Gear anime series, or even just a film!
Love Anime this looks awsome and im almost 40. Is this soundtrack for sale i love it. π
Is this all new animation or is this part of the main story mode? I've only just bought the game and I have been very slowly playing the tutorial, so if this is on story mode - that's going to be one to not skip!
@Flaming_Kaiser You can find the Guilty Gear Strive soundtrack on YouTube as well as Spotify. I believe it was physically released as well, but it might only be in Japan β not sure.
@ShogunRok Then its on to playasia and discogs.
