As promised, Hogwarts Legacy got its moment in the spotlight at Gamescom Opening Night Live. Warner Bros has presented us with a new story trailer, in which we meet Slytherin student Sebastian Sallow.
In the game, you can choose to befriend Sebastian, and his companion quest line will lead you down a path to the dark arts, including forbidden curses such as Crucio. It seems you'll be able to make choices as to who you associate with and how your relationships pan out during the game, which is pretty cool.
Following a delay, the game comes to PS5 and PS4 on 10th February 2023. Pre-orders for the game's standard and special editions are now live.

It looks good, but is that all they are showing? I thought they would be showing more than that.
Hmmm strange and unexpected angle with this trailer, definitely doesn't add to the hype for me but I am still super excited for it regardless
Great! Giant spiders... Time to never finish this game. x-x
From what's been shown so far its definitely a string conteder for 2023 GOTY already, ip name alone will help it sell millions
This is one of my most anticipated games, I’m really excited for it.
What's the point in not showing gameplay? Cinematics are great and all, but tell us nothing about the game.
@Jimmyboy1974 @MidnightDragonDX @RainbowGazelle They showed us alot of detailed gameplay earlier in the year.
Enough to keep me content for awhile. I'm sure we'll get another deep dive video before the release date in February.

Avalanche developing this gives me zero confidence and my bet is this game is going to be a huge dissapointment. Didn't look all that good last night to be honest
@MidnightDragonDX Hopefully we'll get another extended look at The Game Awards in December, if not alot sooner.
