The PS Store kicked off a massive Summer Sale a few weeks ago, including thousands of savings across PS5 and PS4 games, DLC, and add-ons. Half-way through this ongoing sale, Sony has thrown in hundreds more deals. If you've already browsed the sale, it's worth dipping back in to see what's been added.
We can offer a few recommendations, of course. In terms of major games, MLB The Show 22 is down to £34.19 / $39.89 on PS5, and £24.99 / $29.99 on PS4. Other PS5 deals include Far Cry 6 (£23.99 / $26.99), Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate (£17.49 / $14.99), and Cyberpunk 2077 (£19.99 / $24.99). Some PS4 games to consider are SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated for £12.49 / $14.99 and Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes Of An Elusive Age – Definitive Edition at £22.74 / £25.99.
Some lesser known games that are also well worth a shout include Paradise Killer at £11.19 / $13.99, Narita Boy for £7.99 / $9.99, and A Short Hike for only £4.21 / $5.19. We'd love to highlight more great games in the sale, but it's probably best if you just hit up the PS Store and and a thorough browse.

Although I already have Far Cry 6 on PC, the price is pretty decent. It's 60% off
Don't know if anybody saw but Hotwheels Unleashed is 70% off...
@NeThZOR Far Cry 6 is free to play on xbox this weekend, in case you have both consoles and are fancying trying before buying!
@NeThZOR That's a great one! Hot Wheels Unleashed is well worth it for that price.
I rarely recommend games but I love A Short Hike. You cannot go wrong at this price.
Horizon FW has entered the discount fray with 25% off. Stanley Parable / Yomi I reckon..
@Welsh_Will Is it just for the weekend? It came up on Game Pass but I didn't look closely!
@LanceC77 I think there was a rumour it was on game pass but there was nothing to it. It's just for this weekend, along with a few other ubisoft games I believe.
Not gonna lie tempted by Grey Skies the War of the Worlds game at £2.39, always loved the original film and the radio drama, so im curious to see what its like
Trek to Yomi possibly. Still trying to plat stray and enjoying guardians of the galaxy atm though.
All my wishlist games are the same old “sale” prices unfortunately. As always. Still waiting for an actual sale. All I see is them periodically increase prices so they can get away with calling the standard cost a “sale price”.
@belmont I agree, A Short Hike is a great little game, charming and concise.
Very child friendly as well, my 6 year old daughter loved it.
Dragon Quest XI S! Mine! Alllll mine!!!🥰
they took only $4 off Sonic origins 😂😂
I don’t suppose there’s a way of telling the new additions only, or do we have to trawl through the whole lot again?
I see GoT still costs $1B, still as expensive as a 5 month old HFW. Nonsense!
Oddly as it sounds, this new PS Plus Premium setup has kinda ruined sales for me
I see a game on sale but also go, it should end up at PS Plus Premium within a year I reckon, and it's not like my backlog is empty at the moment.
FFXVI and GoW:Ragnarok will be day one buys from me, but beyond that there's little coming within the next year that I feel I must get.
@Nightcrawler71 just have on your fav list the games ur interested on, cant be so many
@SystemAddict it is one of the most bland mediocre games I’ve played in recent memory.
Stick Cyberpunk on PS Plus Extra and I might finally finish it. Can't bear to pay again for a game that I really liked, but that gave me so much grief with the constant crashes as I got further into the story.
I was almost fine with the countless bugs and NPC's talking over each other constantly, and lifeless citizens walking or floating around the city repeating one line of dialogue, but hard crashes killed the game dead.
<<<Just look at Poor Nomad V, he's been stuck in Night City out of his depth and in stasis for almost 2 years
@Jeaz I totally agree. I got the notification that TLoU Part 2 was discounted by 50% and my first thought was that it will probably be on ps plus before long.
@SystemAddict Gran Turismo 7 is on sale now too! I'll wait for a deeper discount though. By November HFW and GT7 will be 50% off.
@Immovablegamer6669 Really? I'm playing through it now (almost done) and I'm quite enjoying it. It looks fantastic and the missions have felt somewhat important. I feel like the story is really picking up as I'm nearing the end. I also like that they give you the flying mount late in the game like an Airship in Final Fantasy.
Nice that 2 of the games on my wishlist are on sale - TLoU2 and HFW - but horrible that the app felt the need to notify me at 4:18AM in the morning. FOUR EIGHTEEN!!!
Anybody know how to mute the app on Android? I don't mind seeing a notification when I wake up but I don't need the sound. Can't mute my phone, my recovering from surgery wife texts me at all hours of the night.
@rjejr I hope your wife is going to be OK. There is some way to set up Do Not Disturb so that it still allows certain people to call. Might be worth a look in the settings.
Been waiting for a discount on remothered tormented father's so I'll pick that up while it's only a fiver 👌🏻
Noticing that it lists what subscription tier a game falls under when applicable (EA Play, Extra, etc) in the store but when not signed in there are a few cases where that's highly misleading. Makes it seem like some games come with premium tier when it fact it's just the game trials. Seems a little sus is all.
Conan Chop Chop is the game to get. Great 1-4 player couch co-op or online co-op. It’s a roguelike that’ll keep you coming back for more.
@PSme I absolutely love that game
@Nightcrawler71 PSPrices sorts based on when the discount was applied, so everything listed first over there are the newly added ones.
Unfortunately the official PS Store is probably the worst PS storefront and all the third party ones have better functionality.
If you want a short game to chill out with, possibly as a palate cleanser between larger games, I highly recommend A Short Hike. You walk around and up a mountain, helping people along the way. They're all cute animals, and you can glide over long distances down the mountain. It's all very zen, and it's an easy platinum.
I picked up Chernobylite after the developers announced they fixed the save issue. Its great so far and giving me metro vibes. Anybody played In Sound Mind? Looks interesting
@Nightcrawler71 I was thinking the same think. I looked through all of them yesterday....
@rjejr my Samsung has a Bedtime mode that I schedule for each day, so it mutes everything from late night until next morning. If you go to your contacts you can whitelist people by setting them as Favourties that will still cause their calls and messages to come through.
@Immovablegamer6669 didn’t continue the first so I’m apprehensive about it. And 25% off to bring it to typical retail price (had to check it wasn’t the special edition) certainly won’t be doing it for me either; we’ll see how I’m feeling after too much sherry drenched pud at the Christmas…
I wanna get Sekerio but I just got RE Remake Raccoon City bundle and Diablo 2. Need to bat least start one of those before buying something new.
@NeThZOR Thanks, will look up something like that. I really like that they called it "Bedtime" mode for people who sleep at odd hours. 👍 I don't, but "bedtime" mode still seems very self explanatory.
@Ninjadeath2023 Thanks, for both the well wishes and the info.
I'm going to give A Short Hike a go. Sounds downright pleasant.
