Cult of the Lamb is a great game in its own right, but its simple mini-game, Knucklebones, is a fun change of pace from all that dungeon crawling and follower sacrificing. It's a game in which two players take turns rolling six-sided dice, placing them into one of three columns and competing for points. There are very few rules, but it makes for an enjoyable distraction from the main event, and you can earn some decent Gold while you're at it. One fan enjoys it so much, they took it upon themselves to create a physical version.
Posted on the game's subreddit, user BenY-S constructed a lovely-looking board with which to play Knucklebones for real:
Constructed with card, balsa wood, vinyl, and foam, the result is something that looks not far off an official product. Accompanied by a set of rules and a box in which to pack it all away, we kinda want to own this fan-made version.
Publisher Devolver Digital has even caught wind of it:
We like seeing creative fan art like this, and this one has the added bonus of being playable too. What do you think of this Knucklebones board? Do you partake in a few dice rolls between runs in Cult of the Lamb? Tell us in the comments section below.

Thats great, its a fun little side game tbh, nothing too complicated about it. Suppose you could add a few more players too to make it more interesting
Let’s add board games to collector’s editions instead of statues. Makes it less likely it will be stored/collecting dust.
I saw OP post this on Reddit yesterday and was wondering how long it would take to pop up on video game sites 😹 The board is nice enough but it’s the packaging that really sets it apart!
I saw this on the subreddit as well. Fantastic job.
Looks fun, def plan to play the video game at some point.
