God of Rock is a fascinating blending of genres. Imagine an unholy melding of Street Fighter and Guitar Hero, as it combines elements of both fighting and rhythm games, and it looks pretty awesome. It's coming to PS5 and PS4 in Winter, although no firm release date has been announced.
Featuring a dozen fighters, each with their own unique moves and style, God of Rock uses rhythm-based gameplay crossed with fighting game mechanics as players battle to the beat to be the last one standing. There will be more than 40 original songs for players to fight over, and eight dynamic stages that will evolve as each battle progresses.

Love the concept but surely you would miss seeing all the fighting due to only concentrating on the bottom half of the screen.
@Smiffy01 I don't think there's much to watch on the upper half anyway lol
The name is pretty wicked. Hopefully it turns out good. Interested for sure
Can you imagine a guitar of the future, you trigger crushing riffs activate searing scales and unleash face melting licks with a sequence of synchronous keystrokes.
@Wolfie_Pie I was just thinking to myself 'wasn't there already a game like this?' And bust-a-groove was it! That was pretty fun, back in the day.
This, however, I have no interest in, haha. If I want to play a rhythm fighting game, I'll just boot up Sekiro again 😉
@Wolfie_Pie Thanks for the dose of nostalgia. I played that game so much that more than 20(!) years later the lyrics “Nobody knows me ‘til I say Hi I’m Kelly” are still burned into my brain.
Looks good.....will there be a guitar controller option at some point?
The idea sounds interesting on paper but whether it will deliver, yeah I'm not getting a good feeling on that one.
Also, kinda unrelated but that heavyset guy with the right cyborg (I assume) hand reminds me of Goldlewis (Guilty Gear Strive) for some reason.
Looks like it might be decent and worth picking up. The question is full price or discounted. Also @khayl Adam Misspelling on "Rhythm" not "Rythym"
@GreenRanger521 Haha thank you, it was a long day. Updated
