Publisher Koei Tecmo has just released a brand new gameplay trailer for Team Ninja's upcoming action RPG, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. It's the first time we've seen the game since its announcement a couple of months ago, and it's looking very promising.
The video showcases several enemy types, with a mix of human baddies and some awesome-looking monsters to slice and dice. Built on the foundations of Nioh, this game will be a pretty brutal challenge, but the combat looks tight, fast, and responsive — we're very interested to try this out for ourselves.
If you're lucky enough to be attending TGS 2022, you'll get to go hands on with Wo Long at the show. For everyone else, the game is set for release in early 2023, which isn't too far away. Are you excited for Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty? Let us know in the comments section below.

Yeah this is the one thing from the last Gamepass show that grabbed my interest. Was expecting it to be pretty Nioh-ish what with the devs etc. (and that would be no bad thing as I loved Nioh) but it looks to have taken some inspiration from the Sekiro combat model too (which is also no bad thing 😉).
One of my most hyped games for next year, and it's looking really good so far!
Well this confirms that it's basically Chinese Nioh. Great get for gamepass considering the Nioh games are both playstation console exclusives.
This game looks amazing.and the combat is excellent.im playing nioh 2 with all the dlcs and its one of my favorite games ever.team ninja is a really amazing studio.word up son
Unpopular opinion, but I'll always prefer Team Ninja over FromSofware. This is pretty much a dream come true for me considering the setting.
Looks like a Team Ninja game alright. I liked Stranger of Paradise a lot and this looks fun too.
@playstation1995 I loved Nioh, but I just am not good enough to beat it lol
Will be a day one pickup for me. Fan of the setting and the work TeamNinja does.
Looks great, i like nioh too, just the cringy dialogue, acting, music..
@Mgene15. Im really good at nioh.im playing nioh 2 now.and im really good at it.im used to play hard games.word up son
If it is playable on TGS we'll probably get a demo not much after. They really like to do those and get community feedback (which was awesome for Nioh2 tbh).
Looking good.
Must admit game pass seems to be getting some good games day one as long as they stay on game pass.
Fallen dynasty
Life of p
High on life.
God knows how much it costs Microsoft though.
Beautiful, just beautiful am all over that
looks better then wukong..
Nioh 3 Kingdoms is looking well swish! Honestly cannot wait to sink a couple hundred hours into this.
@Lup I agree with you outside of Elden Ring, which I just adore how they handled open world, the combat of Nioh absolutely beats anything FromSoftware puts out.
Wo Long still looks beautiful, might not be a day one purchase but def still interested.
