The Outbound Ghost is a delightful little 2.5D RPG all about helping ghosts ascend to the afterlife. Physical editions will be released on PS5 and PS4 on 25th November, with a digital release listed as later in 2022. We got a new trailer ostensibly for the PC release date, but there is plenty of gameplay included for our purposes.
Featuring a colourful cast of characters stuck in the in-between, it's your task to right wrongs and wrap up any unfinished business your fellow spooks might have. However, things won't always go swimmingly, and combat is typical turn-based JRPG fare in which figments of your past personality, like Regret and Jealousy, can be used as party members.

If this is anything like Bug Fables we are in for a good experience!
This game looks stunning. I’m really intrigued, it looks like a charming RPG that would be good to kill some time with.
It looks really nice and chill.
A Digital release later in the year? on PS Plus Extra would be especially nice

It amuses me that this article doesn't mention Paper Mario anywhere.
Looks really good but, since Extra, I really can only see myself buying the biggest AAA games that are unlikely to be added in good time. Games like this fall into the “should be on Extra at some point” category. This is a shame, but I still have so much to play on Extra that, at the most, I might buy it when on deep digital sale should I finish everything I want to play on Extra.
It's a Paper Ghost.
Could be amazing. It looks polished and so I remain cautiously hopeful.
Looks adorable, but man that screechy music in the trailer was sooo out of place and painful. Hopefully most of the game music is fitting.
