Assassin's Creed Valhalla's final chapter will launch "in the coming months", Ubisoft has confirmed. The free 'The Last Chapter' update adds, as you can probably tell, a new chapter to the game, which promises to wrap up its most important plot threads.
Supposedly, The Last Chapter will signify the end of Valhalla's support, which has been ongoing for close to two years now. We imagine that a big ol' update is planned alongside the new content. After all, players are still waiting on New Game+!

Looking forward to it! Valhalla has been a blast and I'm excited to see it bring in the new era for Assassins Creed!
Ill be there, played everything so far. The bang for the money has been sensational.
I fell off it because the excessive bloat made it feel like everything I was doing was directionless and soulless. I did try to get back into it a few times but it just didn’t happen. I’ll be pleased to hear an end to it I’m afraid to say.
Does anyone else love the title tune of this game. I absolutely love it
I played over 100 hours easily. I ashamed to say that last half of game felt like work and I was glad when it was over after the last mission. But now there is more, argh.
After 150 hours and achieving the platinum in the main game, the fatigue was real - I tapped out partway through the Ireland expansion. Not sure I can ever jump back in, but I enjoyed my time overall.
The itch is now being scratched by AC Origins, which I skipped on release and, even though the map is huge, the stripped back skill tree alone makes it feel like a more compact experience to which I hope the recent announcements return.
Still playing it at 270 hours. Currently doing the missions in Dawn of Ragnarok. Been so on and off with the game since launch but the way I played it was went after every artifact, wealth and mysteries first taking one place at a time to avoid a trophy being locked out incase of bugs. That part was so dull. But eventually I cleared the whole map which left me open to playing the main story in one go. Repeated that for Ireland, Paris and Svartalfheim.
Taking breaks can help a lot to prevent burnout. Once all the collectibles are out of the way, it meant that the story could be enjoyed properly.
I'm ready to end it with that last chapter. Need a break after this and get back to my backlog
I'm still playing thru the older games (AC3 rn), but def looking forward to this Final Chapter DLC nonetheless!
