Assassin's creed Valhalla dawn of ragnarok is the only thing decent @ 50% not sure if I want to get anything else right now
Ooof... bought disco elysium recently, for 20 odd quid in the last sale... if I were more patient, I could have saved a fiver, but to be fair, I've enjoyed the game so much, they deserve all the money they get!
@huyi sure enough, but that is not part of this particular Indie sale
Guess I'll finally buy Crysis Remastered trilogy. Only played part 1 back in the day and liked it.
Kena's well worth picking up for that price.
I really want to play Death's Door but am paranoid about buying anything these days in case it suddenly appears on PS+ Extra.
Can recommend Death's Door, Escape Academy, The Pathless & Kena. Especailly Death's Door which is a masterpiece.
Got to get round to Disco Elysium soon.
For that price, anyone who hasn't played hellblade should definitely consider picking it up
@Pinkman Not to play on PS5 tho since ir never had its glitches patched out
@huyi Agreed. Been waiting for it to hit 50% off before buying. I think its worth it now. Always wait for the AC Season Passes to hit 50% off too before buying.
@KaijuKaiser It’s only 2-3 hours long and a glorified walking sim but an amazing piece of video game storytelling. I’d highly recommend it.
@KaijuKaiser I was bored by it, and there no replay value. It depends on what else you could buy for £6. Deaths Door for a couple of quid more is what I'd choose. I'd rather a more interactive game over a narrative walking sim. It boils down to what your tastes are.
@KaijuKaiser ,a excellent palett cleanser to play between bigger games.
Sometime a smaller walking sim game is just what you need.
@KaijuKaiser oof that would be annoying 🥴
Had gotten PS5 Bugsnax on ps plus, but having not gotten a ps5,I admit the crossbuy version is tempting 1/2 off!
I'd been thinking about Asha in Monster World but with the original part of the Wonderboy Collection (& indeed holding off on that in hope the Anniversary edition gets a release),might hold off.
Never saw Oddworld Soulstorm ps4 in action so might be better as a ps5 experience. Glad Strangers Wrath finally got a port!
@KaijuKaiser There is an object you can find that will glow when you are in an area where a seed is. That is how I found the ones I missed…….
@Robocod Bugsnax is also on Extra now, FYI.
Looks like the main deal is Hentai vs Evil, but not sure the price is worth it yet
Got the app notification for Kena in my Wishlist. It just bothers me too much though at $23.99 from $39.99. I know it's petty but just make it $19.99 or $24.99, it's just a weird sale price.🤷
@themightyant totally agree deaths door is a gem
@KaijuKaiser if you have unlocked pot heads secret garden speak to him there and he tells you where any remaining are
@Ooccoo_Jr Exactly this. Before Extra, I'd probably have bought Death's Door and The Ascent at these prices but now, nah.
In fact, the couple of games I have bought recently, I haven't enjoyed any more than the ones I've dipped into on Extra (of which there are many many more I have yet to play)....so what's the point. Either wait for these to hit Extra, or just play other stuff on it anyway.
Extra is killing both my desire to buy new games, and my FOMO for sales. Especially when games like Spiritfarer and Chicory are added - games I bought in sales and haven't even got round to playing. Which kinda sucks all ways! Never again now though.
@Gamer_Guy I feel exactly the same. I have stopped buying games almost completely (other than in a ridiculous sale or unmissable titles like Silksong when it comes) and I worry about the knock on effect to developers of these Indie titles in particular. Before I would have bought Deaths Door and other's of that size and quality but now I just wait. I really should be supporting the teams that make them and I really hope games like this don't disappear as they are no longer profitable.
