Dying Light 2's first proper expansion, titled Bloody Ties, has had its release date been pushed back about a month. It was originally set to launch on the 13th October, but now it'll drop on the 10th November. Why? So that developer Techland can smooth things out, of course.
The Polish studio made the delay official on Twitter, stating: "We have taken the decision to postpone the launch of Bloody Ties until November 10th, to allow the team extra time to polish and squash bugs." A fairly straightforward explanation.
And an important one, really. Dying Light 2 suffered from a slew of frustrating technical issues when it released earlier in the year, and it would be nice if the DLC didn't follow in its footsteps. Hopefully it's fully polished and ready to go in November.
Bloody Ties is an arena-based expansion, by the way, and it looked suitably bonkers in its reveal trailer.

@Daleaf
same. dunno what it is. time moved forward and the games just the same?
sometimes more of the same is a good thing but just wasn't in this case. cant put my finger on why
@LordAinsley yes totally, it was strange. For the first hour i thought this will get good soon but it never did.
I got it on disc so might just trade it and put the credit towards something else. I ended up playing deliver us the moon which was on the plus games, really enjoyed it, did it all in one session.
@Daleaf
This game had way too much filler. I hate this stupid trend of open world games locking the main plot until you do side quests. It isn't a side quest when you are forced to do it! One of the many reasons I despise the last three Assassin Creeds. Why does everything have to be a rpg now! I miss the breezy 12 hour maximum open world main quests of yesteryear.
