Whether the music is to your tastes or not, the FIFA games have always put a lot of effort into their licensed soundtracks. Usually, they're made up of recent tunes that sit right on the edge of mainstream popularity, but in the last couple of years, the soundtracks have stepped over that edge and secured some especially heavy hitters.
The upcoming FIFA 23 has a bit of everything, and that's mostly because it'll feature over 100 songs. Indeed, this is the biggest FIFA soundtrack to date, so picking out the bangers is going to take some time.
Fortunately, EA's given us a festival-esque poster that names every artist and band that's made the cut.
Behold:
If you want to sample the soundtrack ahead of the game's release, you can find it on Spotify through an official FIFA 23 playlist.
Do you recognise any of these tunes? Which songs will you be playing on repeat? Nod your head in the comments section below.

No Glass Animals? Canceling my preorder.
@AFCC I don't know who Glass Animals are but I like your dedication.
I can spot a couple of decent artists in there but it’s for the most part lesser known artists, which is a great thing for sure. It was always a great way to get your band out there in the early 2010s but I guess it’s both easier these days with TikTok and SoundCloud being so massive and harder since actually you’re competing in a much more cutthroat environment.
@nessisonett I've discovered a few bands through FIFA over the years, so the approach does work to some degree. Most of the soundtracks aren't really to my taste, but they definitely manage to squeeze some hidden gems in there year in, year out.
Half the songs have a guest judging by the number of ft. artists. Is that so they can inflate the number of artists on the soundtrack for marketing purposes?
never play fifa with sound on, always my preferred playlist
Damn I must be old don't know who any of them are lol
Edit* might've heard of labrinth was he on X factor or Britain's got talent
I know two of those.
RIP Guitar music.
@Enigk Nah usually cos half these "artists"dont have the courage or conviction that their music can stand alone, its rife through hip hop.
@ShogunRok they are my favourite band nowadays! I was going to see them in a festival here in Portugal last july but they cancelled like two days prior
They were in like 3 FIFA games since 2018 or something! Young. Heat Waves. I Don't Wanna Talk (I Just Wanna Dance). Surely you know one of those?
@AFCC Ohhh, I remember I Don't Wanna Talk from FIFA 22. I guess I do know them!
@Smiffy01 It has been rife in hip hop for years but it used to be big artists who everyone, even those who knew little about hip hop, would recognise. They should give these combinations their own group names as there is no shortage of made up words they can use as people have the internet so cam look up for themselves who the artists are. Let the music speak for itself in the first instance.
@Enigk Aye thats fair comment.
I know one Band on that list, don't particularly like them, and I feel strangely proud of that.
So the soundtrack’s kickin’, ya say? 🤪
So, I just looked at the list. No Boston, Reo Speedwagon, Styx, Journey, Foreigner, ELO, Queen, Van Halen, Kansas, Led Zeppelin, The Who, The Kinks, Tom Petty, Survivor, or Pink Floyd? What the…?!
What’s this world coming to? 😂
EDIT 1: The Who IS on the list. Ha! When I say I need them, I say you better… You better…you better…
EA’s response: You bet!
EDIT 2: They call me the seeker. I found a site that lists all the tracks and there’s nothing listed by The Who. Hmm. I won’t get fooled again!

@AFCC I see that Glass Animals’ video for their song Heat Wave has 395 million views. I’ve never heard that song until just now. Wow, I’m getting old. BTW…it’s a catchy tune.
100 songs? Is it a gamble which ones we hear?
Okay, but can we talk about how horrendous the layout for this is? My tiny brain can't distinguish artists from one another!
Thai Curry, Danger Mouse and M.I.A.
This boutta be a classic boiz
@Smiffy01 I mean a 20 song album is gonna sound repetitive no matter the genre lol
Getting those features in really just confirms more exposure and total listeners
@Cherip-the-Ripper Aye thats true im just gonna have to admit it..im old lol. I do remember finding a great song by Kitten - G# on a fifa soundtrack. Had no idea who they were but the song had a great 90s shoegazer/alt sound to it.
@jgrangervikings1 @ShogunRok it's something I can't explain but I like their songs, they use some weird sounds sometimes and I think they are quite unique! Hope they are in EA Sports FC or wtv it is lol
@jgrangervikings1 Survivor, lol.
