We got a look at the still work-in-progress Armed Fantasia: To the End of the Wilderness, the Kickstarter success story that recently blew up, and got to see the title in action. Admittedly, it's just a character running around an environment, but the environment looks great, and the music is awesome. Also, we love Wild Arms, and shouldn't that be reason enough?
Armed Fantasia has been described as a "western punk" JRPG, and we suppose that means something to someone. It's being developed by WILD BUNCH Productions, a studio comprised of developers who worked on the Wild Arms franchise, headed by the creator of Wild Arms himself, Akifume Kaneko.
Incredibly, there are still 18 more days to go in the Armed Fantasia's Double Kickstarter campaign, and the project has already secured more than double what the creators originally sought ($1,362,927 USD having been pledged at the time of writing). We won't see the project in playable form for several more years at least, but it's nice to know the future of such a beloved franchise is in safe, well-funded hands.

So much potential here and happy that they achieved their goal. I just hope they don't rush this and take their time to polish the game. Definitely looking forward to this alongside Eiyuden Chronicle
@Grimwood Not of 3-D games like this, but ok.
The far away view of that junk yard town 10 seconds in definitely looked extremely nice but man they always have to make the most awkward looking jump animations ever
