Update: Both Judgment and Lost Judgment have been officially announced for PC, as expected.
Original Story: Judgment and Lost Judgment are both great games, but in case you didn't know, the franchise's future has reportedly been up in the air for quite some time. Last summer, news broke that SEGA may have been butting heads with lead actor Takuya Kimura's talent agency. At the time, it seemed as though said agency wasn't keen on the idea of porting the two titles to PC β supposedly due to the customisable nature of PC gaming β and there were even rumours that the series might be put on ice because of this complicated relationship.
But now, it looks like Judgment and Lost Judgment will be getting PC ports. Ratings for the games have shown up on the ESRB's website, and with the RGG Summit event kicking off later this week, it's fair to assume that it really is happening.
Of course, this suggests that SEGA and Kimura's agency have finally reached some kind of agreement, and suddenly, the future of Judgment as an ongoing franchise is looking a lot brighter. It'll be very interesting to see whether developer RGG Studio alludes to its plans for Judgment in the upcoming showcase.
Are you glad that things are seemingly getting better for Judgment? Conduct a thorough investigation in the comments section below.

So this silly argument from the talent agency regarding mods has been resolved π€
Playing through Judgment on PS5 now. Its very good - it has the same issues as the classic Yakuza titles of course, but its a lot of fun and the side content continues to be best in class
I still need to play these but the yakuza games take a long time for me to complete.
Why can't we have 40 hours in a day?
This could be genuinely great news for potential Judgement sequels after it was in doubt. Especially with how Yakuza mainline has changed up its gameplay and Judgement series remains the more traditional beat em up its known for. Absolutely adored Lost Judgement and found it to be slightly more enjoyable than Like a Dragon
So long as the franchise continues, I couldn't be happier. The amount of entertainment these devs have given me over the years is incredible.
@SinfulDestroyer Judgment is already on Xbox though
@Beerheadgamer82 I enjoyed Yakuza LAD on my first run (probably due to playing several of the games in one go) but after playing Lost Judgment on PS5, then playing LAD on it again I didn't enjoy it as much. Ijincho felt so much more enjoyable in Lost Judgment with Yagami being able to skate around and the combat being perfected. I hope to see more Judgment games come
My god this is such great news, the Judgment games are the best RGG has ever made.
We need more Yagami.
After all the bs with Kimura agency, I really do hope this ends up being legit. Similar to Yakuza, more people really do deserve to play Judgment as well.
Lost judgment. I think of Jim Ryan when I hear that for some reason. Otherwise, another great bit of news for the mustard race.
Good news, all that complaint from that talent agency was just dumb.
@Sam_ATLUS Kaito stole the show for me from Yagami in Lost Judgement. Kaito is the man and for me is equally as cool as legendary Kiryu is. Don't mind levelling up in video games but Like a Dragon got super tedious towards the end when attempting the plat, enjoyable story though as always
If true, do yourself a favor and play Judgment. I haven't been that interested in a game in ages.
Finally! Can't wait to play as a naked Takuya Kimura thanks to mods!
@Beerheadgamer82 completely agree on Kaito stealing the show in Lost Judgment especially with the dlc, which was nice to have some more of that Kaito greatness.
That's some great news!
@gollumb82 I burst out laughing at that one!
Goodness I hope this series lives on. I absolutely love the first two!
@NEStalgia
Happy to oblige, as you once put it π
@Beerheadgamer82 I wasn't expecting much from Kaito Files but it delivered more Judgment goodness even if it was only 9 hours for me. LAD I can only wander around a bit before having to dealing with enemies again. Just feel like I don't get to explore Ijincho as much and only got to appreciate it with Lost Judgment. Maybe the next Judgment could have Kaito and Yagami playable? Would mix things up
@Sam_ATLUS throw Sugiura and Higashi in there as well, that would be the best game ever.
@Nk08 Yes all the boys together. I love it especially at the end game point where they all get together and storm through the final fights.
@Sam_ATLUS @Lavalera yh the Kaito files was a fun expansion and was left wanting more by the end. Hope we get more similar quality expansions in the future for these games especially when these expansions go on the sales
Yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss bout god damn time, been waiting for this!
Cool, but a bit late for me. Interested to see how it runs on SteamDeck.
That said, this is more of a Rental on PS5 than a $60 buy on PC in my book. Even if on the same date
You can get both for $50 on PS5 right now. And these are not bleeding edge graphics where PC gives you anything extra.
Previously what stated from Kimura's agency is a joke now π but still happy that this franchise is still an ongoing show(hopefully)
And out today........brain.........can't com..pu...te too much happiness overload π€―
I enjoyed the first. Still planning on playing the second but my game time is minimal these days.
I got a Steam Deck partly to give me access to the Yakuza series that I donβt have on Switch. Iβm playing through Yakuza 0 now. This is great timing for me.
sweet il snag these on day one on steam thank you.
@Mad001 RGG announced they all hit Steam today right after announcing the Like A Dragon games. Go get them!
RGG did way too much today πππ
@OM1993 payday tomorrow why not.
thanks buddy π
@Mad001 Enjoy! π
I'm happy for my PC friends that finally get to play the series!
Already own the first game on PS5, and will be waiting for Lost Judgment's Complete Edition to drop down to $25 New or cheaper during a sale.
