Today sees the arrival of the next major PS Store sale, this time named Planet of the Discounts. This new promotion is a big one, with a wide variety of games big and small across both PS5 and PS4. The sale runs from today, 28th September, through to 12th October, so there's plenty of time to peruse the digital shelves.
Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales has dropped to nearly half price, going for £28.99. Fellow PS5 launch game Demon's Souls is at £39.19, its lowest price yet. It's a similar story for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, which is reduced to £43.39 in this sale.
As well as a handful of first-party titles, there's lots to recommend. Saints Row is already on sale for £44.99, Mortal Kombat 11 is just £11.99, and Metro Exodus is great value at £6.24. Some smaller games we'd encourage you to check out include Rollerdrome for £16.49, Streets of Rage 4 for £9.99, and The Messenger for £6.39.
There's so much we could suggest, but it's maybe best to check out the full list on the PS Blog. The US Store doesn't have the discounts live yet, but you can at least see what's included in the deal. What are you grabbing from this latest sale? Tell us in the comments section below.

Very little for me in there, Metro Exodus Expansion Pass is the only thing I'm considering. PS Plus Premium has got me spoilt for games to play.
I picked up Vanquish for £8, been wanting to replay that for ages.
Onimusha Warlords £6.39.....might have to bring back some memories.
Is it any good?
Took a month for Saints Row to go on sale.
What do you think it will cost by Black Friday?
@Netret0120
By then it'll be:
Buy Saints Row, get a free Series S
@Netret0120 19.99
The Messenger, Streets of Rage 4 are highly recommended at any price, a steal at these ones.
Syndicate is the only AC game which isn’t available on PLUS which annoys my OCD as I own the others digitally, and have an AC folder… though have they fixed how Syndicate performs on PS5 yet?
@ShogunRok been waiting for a price like that myself to replay it. If i remember though, it just kinda ended in an okay fight and didnt explain much?
@SuperSilverback Yeah it's a short game and there's not much to the story. All about the action, I suppose. Length makes it quite replayable, too.
@God_of_War_
As long as you don't mind those clunky early PS2 era controls, then yes it is worth playing.
FINALLY - Shadow Warrior 3 is at a price point I can get behind: $19.99. I’ll definitely be picking that up!
Was tempted to pick up the Lost Judgment dlc but i feel like that has potential to be discounted further in a future call so nothing for me
Great for digital buyers, but I will be waiting on black Friday. I tend to purchase 6-10 physical games on physical copies. I look for any game on sale $19.99 that I don't own at that time.
A lot of these are already on Extra, others likely will be on there within a few months. Not much in these sales will tempt me in future.
Was hoping there might be a sale on Sophie 2 this week but it appears not (unless these sales are yet to go live in the UK). Will wait it out again!
R&C is still wildly expensive , sony has their heads up their *** , we’re 2 years into 9th gen , i don’t think haptic feedback is enough to “wow” somebody to pay overprice , if it ever was .
btw , is the “a” word not censored anymore ? i had to censor it out 😂
I bought Deus Ex: Mankind Divided a week ago and I'm still playing that.
I have the collector's edition for PC from the initial release, but it's been as many years since I played it.
I managed to get used to the 30FPS gameplay. It's reinvigorated my love for this series and I hope there's another. The story was left unfinished. Square Enix pulled the plug, which is why it's been dirt cheap for years.
Just saw that Dragon Ball FighterZ ultimate edition is down from £85 to just over £5!!!
£80 off? Now I think that's surely worth a punt.
