It's a fresh month, which means a new batch of PS Plus Essential games is on the horizon. However, before we concern ourselves with September's goodies, let's not forget August's PS Plus lineup. Today, 5th September, is your last day to claim this trio and add them to your games library, and it's a selection you'll want access to.
As a refresher, August brought members the unsettling puzzle platformer Little Nightmares, an excellent remake of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2, and brilliant JRPG japes in Yakuza: Like a Dragon. That's about as robust a lineup as we've seen for a while, so make sure you've added them to your library if you haven't already.
From tomorrow, these games will be replaced with Toem on PS5 as well as Need for Speed Heat and Granblue Fantasy Versus on PS4. Are you looking forward to these titles? Which of August's Plus games was your favourite? Tell us in the comments section below.

I thought I had but it’s saying I hadn’t. Bizarre. Claimed now. Would have been grumpy if I’d missed this month!
I bought yakuza and THPS1+2 when they came out so I dont have this problem. But anyone who hasn't yet because they don't look like they would be your bag, they are Amazing games give them a try.
Would've loved to play Yakuza, but next month's crap, so no reason to be subbed again
Am I the only one who just downloads every PS Plus game I'm interested in and just leave it rotting in my backlog for ages before I start even consider touching it?
That can't just be me, right?
@BoldAndBrash Hey. Toem's pretty good though.
@HotGoomba
I have to agree, these are the type of games I love having Plus for, but I'd rather buy it myself when it's cheaper or wait for next month's lineup and grab both months
Thanks for the reminder, already claimed all 3 games!
