Various Daylife was confirmed today for Nintendo Switch, and is in fact available right now. However, an overlooked detail is that the RPG is actually PS4-bound as well โ it's just a few days extra to wait.
From Square Enix, this game initially released on Apple Arcade. It's an "adventure x daily life RPG" that sees you party up to explore an unknown land. "In the year 211 of the Imperial Era, a new continent was discovered," Reads the description. "Explore its every last corner as a settler of Antoecia, while living your life to the fullest in the city of Erebia."
It seems there's a variety of job types you can adopt which will affect your character's stats and moveset. On top of that, a main focus of combat is on team attacks, which you can get a glimpse of in the above trailer.
Various Daylife will be available on PS4 on 16th September, so it's very nearly here. Are you interested in this one? Let us know in the comments section below.

"Various Daylife" is the best JRPG life sim game name never. ๐
First I've heard of it being an Apple Arcade game, though this was like the 12th game of it's kind in the ND so I may have missed that note.๐คท
So, it's a phone game, ported to console. Those are always awesome.
If it's included at some point in some Plus bundle, I might give it a shot. Nothing against the people who work on these, but that phone-to-console path doesn't have an amazing track record.
I'll probably know a lot more about this game after tonight's State Of Play - want to bet it's stuff like this that dominates it?
The synopsis had me thinking more along the lines of Fantasy Life. After watching the trailer, I'm sure this'll be good, but my main takeaway is hoping Sony buys Level-5 and is able to get Fantasy Life ported to PS ๐ (not sure if licensing might lock it to Nintendo).
I bet it's got nothing on Level 5's Fantasy Life.
Like, someone's taking the piss with titles at square enix, right?
@DrClayman They have been releasing so many games the last few years they prob run out of titles! I have actually lost track of the sheer amount of games due out between now and next summer (A few added by nintendo today)
Everybody: making fun of SE game names by coming up with even worse ones
Square-Enix: hold my beer
Also: doesnโt seem to be available on Apple Arcade in Poland (yet?)
That has got to be the worst title of a video game I've ever heard. Bravely Default was a meme. After Project Athia became Forespoken I thought it couldn't get worse, but here it is. I can't wait for the sequel: Assorted Weekhappening.
I thought Herman Hulst was just being a blowhard when he coined "Fiercely Daring", but apparently he was just leaking the name of the next Square-Enix title.
@ApostateMage Fantasy Life is technically Brownie Brown's (Now, 1-UP, a Nintendo owned support studio) game which explains why it was on another level from Level 5's other fare of the time (and why the mobile sequel was garbage.)
Looks like a great phone game
That's a thing a wish they did more... Bring mobile games to console. Like the Kingdom Hearts ones, Union X Dark Road... Play it on PS5 would be a godsend.
Oooh, definitely giving that a go.
@BeerIsAwesome well, if Sony or anybody else doesn't buy Level-5, we can kiss goodbye getting any of their games released in the west (and we have been, they don't localize anything new since Ni no Kuni 2). Which will be a shame because they're a great developer.
No SE, using the same design for your game's logo is not clean, cool, or creative. The games aren't even in a series, and I have a feeling who the producers is.
@freddquadros Oh I would so buy a port/remaster or remake of Union Cross and/or Dark Road on PS5 DAY ONE.
Especially if they went the Re: Chain of Memories route.
@KidBoruto Me too!! I would pay full price!
